     Lakers, Cavs, Magic

Magic get: Andrew Bynum, Cleveland’s 2012 1st rounder, Omri Casspi

Los Angeles get: Dwight Howard, Anderson Vereajo, Ramon Sessions

    Cleveland gets: Pau Gasol

    My thoughts

Who in the draft could have a better next three seasons then Pau Gasol? With Irving looking like the potential star we envisioned, and Thompson being a decent defensive PF, it is worth it to give up one pick, that won’t be that good (7-13 IMO) for 2 1/2 Pau seasons?

If your Orlando, why not amnesty Hedo and now you have two top 20 picks, Bynum, Anderson and another trade piece in Nelson, who can get you a 1st rounder in 2013 or 2014?

If your LA, you don’t do this deal to get a PG and arguably the best trade piece in the league in Verejao, who would be perfect to flank Dwight?

    Opinions? Thanks

If Dan Gilbert didn’t want the chris paul trade to go through, why would he assist in a deal getting them dwight howard and the pg they have been missing?

Dan Gilbert didn’t want the CP3 deal to go down because of the potential of the Lakers getting Paul, Howard AND saving money in the Paul deal.

^^^^ exactly!! the lakers would have saved like 20million and since theyr over the luxury tax that would have been money that the teams under the cap would have missed out on. Gilbert is such a hypocrit and such a Dbag he doesnt care if chris paul or d12 end up in LA he just wanted to make as much money as possible since lebron isnt there anymore

Pau to the Cavs isn’t a great idea for a rebuilding team. They want to lose so that they can at least stack up on talent through the draft. If they got Pau, they would be a 8-10 seeded team and not get as good of a pick compared to being a crappy team and getting a top 7 pick.

Pau to cavs makes no sense. Why all the hate for Verajo? He is such a good player to have on a team. He will give you endless effort, second chance points and strong on the boards.

The Lakers get worse trading Gasol and Bynum for Howard, don’t like it.  Also, why would a team like Cleveland trade their first round pick for Gasol when they’re rebuilding?

^^^exactly people get caught up in big names, but if youd watched the lakers games this year you would know that theyr biggest need is perimeter defence and bench scoring.
