The Scare Crow RisesParticipantNoel, Mullens and Moultrie make up their Pf/C rotation, Henry Sims may or may not be brought back too, Thad Young splits time at Sf/Pf…
We have a ton of holes to fill so where do we start?
Do we build up our interior defense and Draft Joel Embiid(Top 5) or Aaron Gordon (10th) to pair up with Nerlens Noel???
Or do we add an interior scorer like Randle (Top 5) or Vonleh (10th)???
In the second round look at guys like Jokic, Nurkic or Porzingis if they’re available???
What should Philly do?
Take Wiggins or Parker at the top as expected or Go Big and take Embiid?

NardDog NationParticipantAssuming that the projected draft order remains the same and the Sixers pick 2nd, I think their best bet is to take Jabari Parker and trade down for the Jazz’s (projected) 4th pick and a sign and traded Gordon Hayward. At 4th, they could go with either Randle or Vonleh to pair with Noel in the frontcourt. As for the Jazz, the Stormin’ Mormon would be a perfect fit for the team and community. He’s the only guy I see in this draft that would be willing to stick around in Utah, making this a win-win for both teams.

B-ball fanParticipantThey could use help everywhere, but they are weakest on the wings. Noel is their center of the future and Young really is best as a PF. Even Henry Sims should develop into a good back-up center in time.
I think Parker and Wiggins should be the top two players on the Sixers big board. With their second lottery pick, it should probably be BPA for them, but the SG position is so good in this draft, I could see them going that way and selecting Jordan Adams or Nik Stauskas.

Camshoeman3ParticipantNo kidding. When i look at their roster idont know have the people. I think they would suck even in the d league. I think they should see what Nerlens Noel can do to help before drafting another big

Buckets21Participantthey would not suck in the d-league. I know this because they brought up almost all of the d-league players at some point this season, so they have some solid d-league talent right now.

Ebown5ParticipantI think that it is too early to pay much attention to building the team with specific positions. For the most part, they should just take the best players that they can find.
If they end up with the second pick and Wiggins is gone, I would take Embiid as long as his Medical situation checks out. If they are worries about the back then take Parker and be thankful.
With the 10th pick there will be a number of similar valued prospects on the board so they can afford to look a bit more for lineup balance. In the end though, this team is still going to be tanking next year and is at least 2 seasons away from contending for a playoff spot. The roster may still change quite a bit by that time. It all depends on who develops into a star.

Rip255Gotta take whoever is available out of Wiggins and Parker. Theyre not a playoff team and 2015 is full of bigs if Noel doesnt show promise at least as a starter.
Speaking of Philly, we laughed off suggestions last week that theyd trade mcw to get Exum. Yet im seeing more and more of these reports pop up.
Are they serious? You could get great value for mcw and his cheap contract. Possibly a legit starter and some salary dump?

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI have been thinking about moving down if we win the lotto…
It may seem crazy to think about but maybe we move a few spots lower if we still get (Embiid, Exum or Randle) @ 4…
Let’s say the Bucks or Magic end up with the 4th pick and they love Wiggins or Parker, we love Exum, Randle and Embiid, so trading back could make some sense
Lets say we trade Wiggins or Parker(1st overall) to Milwaukee for the 4th pick and John Henson (Take Embiid, Randle or Exum)
The Pelican’s 10th pick should be used to find to best wing player available
The 32nd pick should be used a the best international prospect available

ibe12ParticipantIt all depends on what happens Tuesday. The Sixers have holes pretty much everywhere. If it’s top 3 you have to go Parker or Wiggins. I wouldn’t go big at 10 necessarily either. I’d rather go best player available or high ceiling rather than reach for a big man. If they fall to 4 or 5 you have to go Randle. I’m not sold on Exum but Hinkie and Brown seem to love him so I wouldn’t be surprised if they took him around here. Two 6’6 PG’s who can’t really shoot doesn’t appeal to me. The Sixers will be a lottery team next year no matter who they pick so they can fill in the gaps in their roster with another draft pick and free agents.

anthonymatthew24ParticipantDepends how the lottery rolls out. If they have Exum at their hands with their first pick they might grab him, if they pick in the 3-5 range. If they get #1 they would pick Wiggins over Exum I believe, but their late lottery pick should be a big man, Randle or Gordon depending whos available or maybe take a chance on Saric, who could pan out to be a very good player and Brett Brown would do marvels for.

Neggedpastorno you don’t trade if you get parker or wiggins you take them its no reason for the sixers to trade back

vulture711ParticipantMoultrie – gone. Mullens – gone.
There are so many holes here we could add anything.
Backup point – check
Starting two – check
Starting three – check
Depth at 4 & 5 – check
We could draft someone at every position and it would be filling a need. We need the best 2 guys we can get in the 1st round and try to add a couple guys for depth in the 2nd
