this frustrates me so much, these selection committees are garbage. Every year mid-majors have great years and deserve a shot at the big boys and every year the selection guys match them up against other mid-majors.

Bowl selection show last night they pair Boise State with Utah(last year was Boise at TCU), this is stupid, they deserve to prove it against a BCS conference, put them against Mich St, Wisconson, or Nebraska, not Utah(I team Notre Dame beat).

Then you look at the NCAA Tourney and every year you see mid-majors get at large bids only for them to play other mid-majors. I just think it’s disrespectful.

 This is why I hate bowl games. Its just one game that is supposed to decide who is the best. But who knows if the two teams that play in the National championship are the best? We may think they are the best because of their ranking and their schedule, but you never know how good or how poorly a team will play come tourney time. The College Basketball tourney I think is done much better. I’ve heard the argument that doing that with football would create a very long season but who cares if the season goes into the first week of February? I mean once they get to the NFL they’re going to have to do that anyway. So why don’t they just get used to it now in College?

 And what the heck is Uconn doing in the Fiesta bowl game that is where Boise State should be. Or at least in the Cotton or Sugar bowl. 
And Nebraska once again in the Holiday bowl. They are always in that bowl game it seems. Why not outback, Chick Fil A, or Capital One? They’re good enough for those games, right.

I agree Boise deserves a BCS bowl, but UCONN won the Big East so they get a spot. I think they should just do the bowls by ranking, who cares that UCONN won the Big East, they clearly aren’t a top 25 team.
