McDunkinRyan Harrow and his mother planned on sitting down and reviewing the teams that were interested in Harrow’s services, and, after narrowing things down, they would schedule visits.
Well, the schools Harrow will visit and are down to are now announced.
Wednesday afternoon via his twitter, Harrow announced his intentions to visit Kentucky, Louisville, St. John’s, Georgia, and Texas.
It was just a couple of days ago that people were assuming Harrow was not interested in coming to Kentucky, despite all the crazy rumors that he was on campus a few hours after being granted his ability to transfer from NC State.
We can’t take anything for granted, but do know this: Kentucky is very involved in the former top 20 point guard.

Anybody still think he is a UK lock?

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI hope he ends up at St. Johns, he could really have a chance to shine there with Lavs’ open court style, fits him perfectly imo

St.johns- Steve lavin could use a lead guard like him . The up-tempo style fits Harrow well.
Louisville- He fits well with pitino’s system. Harrow and Peyton Siva would make a great interchangeable backcourt.
Georgia – IMO UGA is the favorite. Georgia native. Harrow and Mcdonalds all american SG Kentavious Caldwell would make a great tandem for Mark Fox.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWould fit him just as well, and you gotta think Kentucky is shipping dudes to the NBA left and right and that’s gonna really weigh in on his decision, because he is another quick fast guard that can excel in an up and down tempo and who else can teach him better than Calipari.
And plus Harrow has to sit out a year, which would be beneficial he could already have a year under his belt and be very successful watching for a year, and if Teague is a one and done Calipari already has his next guard lined up
Not saying St.Johns is a bad pick tho.

D-Rose1ParticipantThis thing about Kentucky is that he’s gotta worry about UK recruiting another top flight PG to come in. Harrow is likely too small to go pro early even if he puts up solid numbers so he’d be at kentucky for a few years. If they keep bringing in players like Wall, Knight, and Teague then I dont see how Harrow would play over players like that.

JNixonParticipantI would LOVE Harrow at UGA, Mark Fox would have a fan favorite and a talented guy to team with Caldwell.
It’s important to know he’s originally from NY so that explains the St. John’s choice. Steve Lavin having immediate success makes that viable.
Pitino is good with flashy, athletic and quick PG’s in Harrow’s mold. Harrow’s game is very similar to Siva’s as it is.
Harrow would have alot of freedom at UK and the dribble drive fits him well. He’s the physically gifted player that Calipari has had in the past, but he’s nearly as athletic to be modest.
I like/understand every school he’s visiting. He’s a fun guy to watch and hope he lands somewhere and has success and matures as a player.
