I’m sorry but this had to be addressed…what a POS.

I lost a lot of respect for this guy after this tournament.

Rudy Fernandez is not a basketball player. He is an actor

A lot of sports writers, such as Bill Simmons, complain about defensive guys flopping on charge calls. But the real issue is offensive guys flopping to get foul calls drawn.

Personally, if a player can get away with it, there is nothing against flopping to get calls. So it doesnt bother me so much. But I still wanna punch Rudy.

To be honest, I have no problem with that "flop" with Iguodala grabbing him. There’s a difference between a flop and selling a call. A flop is when you make incidental contact into a foul by doing an acting job, selling the call is when you draw a subtle foul to the attention of the referees.

If you look at the gif, Andre clearly grabs him and pulls him away from the ball; yes that was an overreaction, but that was definitely a foul, and it was the sort of foul that the referees were missing in this game, and I have no problem with Rudy drawing it to the attention of the referees.

The one against LA was terrible, but the Olympics "flop" was completely different.

Not how I would play. Yes it was a foul but he reacted as if shot.

It’s amazing how he flops so blatantly with the slightest touch or sometimes without even a touch

I’m glad he isn’t going to be in the NBA next year. It was very frustrating watching him at any point during the game. He is just one of those guys I can’t stand.

Just saying, but if fouls weren’t called every time a player falls down, flopping wouldn’t be an issue.

If he was any worse a flopper, he’d have to change his name to James Harden.

It is one thing to take contact and sell it, it is another to invent the contact.

Manu Ginobili isn’t too far off from Harden and Rudy Fernandez either.

That wasn’t really a flop, if I had someones elbows flailing less than an inch from my face I would back off to.

His flopping is bad enough but I don’t understand why he cries over every foul HE commits.  He relies on getting chintzy calls from officials on offense; if refs called the game like Rudy complains, he would get nothing.  The guy is freaking joke.  I’m glad he crashed out of the NBA.

I remember watching that first one. I’m glad refs will be able to review flagrant fouls now.

Now that I watch it again it doesnt look that bad. Yeah the first one is a flop, but int the 2nd one he clearly gets kicked in the head. Got to call that.
