bloodshyParticipantI can’t stand Royce White and the self-victimizing he’s been doing all year. However, the “jabs” he took via twitter here are nothing to get upset about. Sure, he probably should have just kept silent, but there’s no reason for KD or anyone else to get angry about this. These comments were benign.

mds0549ParticipantRoyce White has enough of his own problems and he doesn’t need to go after one of he best players in the league. KD didn’t have a great shooting game but he’s carrying this team and the best player on the court while White can’t get on an airplane without a couple Xanax. I’m sure that Duran’t won’t pay any attention to the guy who finished the year on the Rio Valley Vipers team but I shake my head when stupidity like this comes up. Just let Harden and the actual Houston Rocket players take care of the smack.

HotSnotParticipantWhite is trapped in his own little world. Its what mental illness is. I don’t see the harm in rooting for / talking a bit of smack for the organization your employed by. I agree that it appears to be bad form on his part since his career has been what it is so far… but whats a guy who suffers from social anxiety supposed to do? Its not like he’ll get together with buddies at a sports bar to talk about the game. So he talks online to no one inparticular.
On a seperate note. Coming into this series, OKC clearly had the better team. Westbrook goes down and OKC loses the next 2. Perhaps this is because OKC is having trouble adjusting to play without their PG but perhaps its also a bit about Durant being slighly overrated aswell. Harden is surrounded with less talent then Durant has to work with yet the Rockets have won 2 straight on his back. 2 bad games by Durant? Maybe That doesn’t make the player. However, this is the playoffs. Harden is efficiently carrying his team and Durant is not. Harden has been the best player this series.

BUT what does any of that have to do with his tweet?
He only said the Thunder were looking shaky. It’s the truth.MOst players tweet about other games while they are watching. Just like when Nate Robinson was going off, you had several players saying stuff like the Nets better get somebody to guard that boy. It’s the same thing.
I know and understand why people dislike Royce White, he brought it on himself, but this tweet is being blown out of proportion.

Shaquille OatmealParticipantHe’s just playing around. This isn’t a big deal at all. If anything, people should be happy to see Royce White showing support for the Rockets. I understand the objection to White’s actions since he’s just a part time D-Leaguer at this point, but all types of people who couldn’t even outplay a twelve year old run their mouths at NBA players on Twitter all the time. At least Royce White will most likely have to back it up on the court against KD and the Thunder at some point in the not too distant future.
Besides, referencing battle rap is always a cool thing to do in my book! He should’ve gone all the way and said: “I swear I’ll run into any crib he might even maybe own and ya’ll would think I’m Tom Cruise how I’ll dump in (I’m dumping) KD homes (Kaitie Holmes).” That would have made things a little more interesting.

He brought Surf out to a Thunder-Lakers game when they were working on the track together a few months ago.
