I’m actually going to see this head to head match up personally for myself. I just put my bid in for my tickets yesterday, so I can see Rose bust his ass & put all the comparison talk to rest. I know Wall can ball but right now Rose is in a league of his own when it comes to the 2 & YES I AM BIASED BY FAR can’t you tell.

First of all, I think you are definitely overating Rose and Wall. Rose is not in a league of own, and 20,8 is a bold prediction for Wall. Wall is not going to be the main scorer on his team as long as Gilbert is around and Rose’s production for points is definitely going to suffer with BOozer on his team. I dont know if this is just me, but I think Boozer’s impact on the Bulls is way overated right now.

We can, however, compare Wall and Rose when they were prospects about to enter the league. In that case, recent draftee Rose and contemporary John Wall are pretty even in terms of overall impact on a game. There, of course, are areas of the game that Rose held an advantage over Wall, even at that nascent stage in his career (strength, first step quickness (slightly), ability to finish at the rim and the ability to generate offense in the half court set), and there are aspects of the game that Wall was superior to Rose coming out of college (height , length, defensive prowess, transition ability (slightly), passing and vision.) Other areas of their games are a wash at that stage imo (shooting, overall athletic ability (leaping, agility, speed), overall intangibles.) A GM’s predilection would’ve determined who he would’ve selected if they had both been in the same draft pool I think.

John Wall will be great an could 1 day surpass Rose but last seasons game against South Carolina showed me that he’s not 2 much interested in playing defense. Instead of trying to lock down Deaven Downey who wus givin him tha blues, he tried 2 out score him an force the issue and it cost UK the game. D.Rose is about to take the nba by storm an with an improved 3 point shot he is on his way to being the best point guard in the league!!!!

Rose has had trouble in FIBA play sticking with slower Euro guards I think the speed factor is in Wall’s advantage. Rose has him on strength though.

rose is gonna dominate wall he is 2 strong for wall to quick and cant no one in the nba stay in front of him and i think wall is gonna struggle against every elite PG in the nba just because in college wall never played against an elite PG in college that could challenge him back and actually make him play def and people are overrating walls def and passing ability and he is way to out of control and just because he is 6’4 with long arms people are expecting him to be a all world defender to be a good defender its want and desire to play it and i just dont see that from wall and to the guy who stated wall has height over him its 1 inch if he is even a legit 6’4 i could see if rose was 5’11 dude is 6’3 not that big of a difference and as for transition rose is a 1 man fast break wall turns the ball over way to much in transition and in the half court

My longest anticipated matchup that I have been waiting for has been put to a delay. This really sucks that Wall is injured for the most anticipated matchup of the season for him. It’s a good thing I did not buy my tickets months ahead of time like I had planned.
