The Sixers won the second pick in the draft and have a huge decision to make…they could draft the best available player..most likely Evan Turner and play the year out or they can make some huge moves to help get deeper and younger…

    1. Trade 2nd pick on draft night to Wolves(Turner) for the 4th and 16th pick

    2. Trade Lou Williams and the 4th pick to Grizzles for OJ Mayo and 12th pick

3.Trade Iggy and Jason Smith to Portland for Camby/Rudy and 22nd pick

We’d get the starting 2 in Mayo…A starting Center in Camby and a 6th man in Rudy…

Not to mention the 12th/16th/22nd picks(Henry/Whiteside and Babbit) to fill out their roster and give you young talent going forward…

If we suck then we get another top ten pick and hope for the best…IMO this makes us the Blazers or Thunder of the east with alot of many coming off the Books in after 2010( The Melo and Paul and D12 Free Agency)

How about a trade to Golden State?

Iguodala for Ellis and Morrow (sixth pick conditional if necessary)
Iguodala + Dalembert for Ellis and Biedrins (2 young pieces locked up for decent money)
Iguodala + Dalembert for Ellis and Maggette (very efficient scorer)

Iggy needs a new home, as does Ellis and Biedrins…Dalembert’s awful contract comes off the books, and Biedrins when healthy is a very good rebounder and a decent post defender. Ellis can guard opposing PGs, with Holiday guarding SGs (like the Baron Davis-Monta Ellis backcourt); Evan Turner slides to the 3.

How bout the Sixers just hang on to their pick, draft Evan Turner, and KEEP HIM. I have my doubts on whether Jrue Holiday can be a quality starting PG in the NBA. He plays very good defense, but Im just not sure if he has the skill set to be a good PG. With Evan Turner, you can take the pressure off Holiday, and perhaps you can even make Evan Turner your PG, much like Penny Hardaway. But to make this work, U may have to trade Iguadala for a pure scorer, because you can’t have both Turner and Iguadala who both likes to share the ball rather than to score, its best that you pair a great scorer with Turner, preferably a good spot up shooter.

Thanks for the random insult post with no rhyme or reason.
Anyway, how about an Iggy for Al Jefferson trade? Or Iggy for Kevin Martin? First one gets us a Center to pair with M16 and the second could get us a very underrated scorer who can knock down open shots.

Are the trade scenarios with Golden State that bad that no one can even refute/explain why they’re bad?

Yes they are that bad, sorry haha. I don’t want maggy or biedrens, and Ellis isn’t really that enticing either.

How about Ellis, Morrow and the 6th pick for Iggy? Ellis is a good scorer when he plays off the ball (see the 2007-2008 season), and he can cover PGs decently when motivated…Holiday is big enough to cover SGs. With the 2nd pick, you can draft Turner, and with the 6th pick you could draft Monroe or someone else who can replace Brand/Dalembert for the future.

Biedrins had an awful year last year, but he was battling through injury the entire time. If he comes back healthy, he’ll grab over 10 rebounds a game…and he’ll play decent defense.

Turner+Iggy would be bad, because neither have a solid outside shot. Morrow can spread the floor, and Ellis has a decent three point shot also.

Why not Deng and the Bulls pick to Minny for their pick? Gets Minny that SG/SF they need and Chi could get Cousins or Monroe.

The T-Wolves are in rebuilding mode, and Deng, while not old, is definitely overpaid for his position…Minny can get a ready to contribute SF in Johnson with the 4th pick, or a project SF in Aminu…there’s no reason for them to go for Deng.

U have the gayest picture I have ever seen on NBADraft. Anyway, I actually like ur trade idea but I don’t think the Bulls pick is high enuff for it to work out.

It’s Peja. It had me laughing so hard…. but I should change it. Some people just don’t see the humor in this pic.

You would rather have Wes or Aminu than Deng? Really? If either of those guys average over 20 ppg a season, I will be more than shocked. Sure, Deng is over paid, but Minn needs a SG/SF bad and neither of those guys are going to be go to guys to get a bucket in the next 2-3 years. The Bull spick may not be high enough, but maybe another future pick could swing the deal since Minny is in rebuilding mode.

A starting 5 of Rose, Wade (possible), Hinrich, Cousins and Noah seems pretty awesome to me.
