The GoatParticipantWoj just tweeted TJ Warren to the Pacers. I saw rumours of the Mavs being interested, but Indiana has won the prize. I don’t know who was sent out yet, but about 4 hrs ago there was talk of a deal around Aaron Holiday.
Warren has steadily improved every year and can really score. He’s a good pickup for them.

ThenilonatorParticipantI believe the sun’s have just received cash back in the deal. Sun’s setting up for something here.

BleedGreen808ParticipantSeems like a no brainer for the Pacers. Bobby Marks has the Pacers still having 31mil in cap space to chase free agents with a focus on the PG position.

SwatLakeCityParticipantSo does Aaron Holiday go to the Suns, or is he still with the Pacers? Are the Pacers still interested in Rubio as their veteran PG to play the same role Darren Collison played for them the last two years? I thought they really liked Holiday and wanted to develop and groom him to be their starting point guard once Collison leaves. Collison is a free agent this year, but I don’t think Holiday is ready for that starting role yet, so that’s why I thought wanted to bring in Rubio to fill in until Holiday is ready. So I would think they would want to keep Holiday.

SwatLakeCityParticipantOk, just checked ESPN on the deal. Per Woj, its Warren and the 32nd pick to the Pacers for cash. Suns will seek a PG with the 6th pick (probably White), and then they have no more second round picks since they traded the 32nd away, so I guess they will use that cash on some undrafted player they like, or send it to some other team for Grant Williams, I know they really like him, and I thought thery were targeting him with the 32nd pick, but I guess they think they can get him later in the second round, and it would be more valuable.
I think the Pacers did this because they fear they will lose Bojan Bogdanovic in free agency. Suns did it to get more cash, and unload on their boatload of SF wings. Now they will probably use that cash on a starting PF, and/or a veteran PG.

theEDGEParticipantSuns trade pick 6 for 11 and Saric, no White or Garland for the Suns.

raybeasParticipanthe’s the 2nd wing off the bench, and not the starting SF.

festar35ParticipantI think he will be our 6th man & play as a combo forward.
He should see minutes at SF & PF, with his sole job putting up points for the 2nd unit, especially with it sounding like Sabonis will be our starting PF.
