PhogifyParticipantWith the Arron Afflalo for Eric Bledsoe trade rumors heating up, and if it happens I’m going to assume that the Magic will take Ben McLemore as they have shown interest in the past and would need someone to replace Afflalo. Is it just me or is this a playoff starting 5?
PG: Eric Bledsoe
SG: Ben McLemore
SF: Tobias Harris
PF: Glen Davis(although I don’t know much about his situation with Orlando)
C: Nikola VucevicJacque Vaugn is a great coach and this team is full of on the rise players. Check out Tobias Harris’ game log: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/6440/tobias-harris. The man put up some crazy numbers near the end of the season. And Vucevic who averaged 13 and 12 last season even improved near the end: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/6478/nikola-vucevic. The pieces are really going to fall into place with this team if they can get Bledsoe and McLemore. Orlando fans should be excited.

FutureNBAGMParticipantI sure hope the Clippers get more than just Afflalo for Bledsoe/Butler. They should probably ask for Harkless as well. If they move Butler, who would their small forward be? Plus, the Magic would still have Tobias Harris anyway.

AmiableBaller34ParticipantThere is no way Bledsoe is worth both AA and Harkless. Harkless isn’t just a player you throw into a deal to make salaries work, he is a legit prospect. Once the Magic gave him a shot he started to produce from the month of February until the end of the season. He showed flashes of being a great defender, and reminded me a little of Paul George during his rookie year (Their rookie stats are identical, as well as their measurements). I also like the fact that he was pulled from the starting lineup, and worked extremely hard to get back in it. Those are the type of players you want on your team because they have the drive to improve and the will to win; Not bad for a 19 year old rookie.

PhogifyParticipantI don’t think the Magic has a need for Harkless as he would be sitting behind Harris. I guess Harris could play the stretch 4 though. I think sometimes you have to throw players out like that to get the ones that fit with your team.

AmiableBaller34ParticipantHarkless played both SG and SF last year while Tobias played mainly PF, and according to bball.reference the Magic’s best lineup last year was when Mo played the 3 and Harris the 4. I don’t understand why the Magic would throw promising player like Harkless away for a player who hasn’t even proven that he’s a starting pg yet.

PhogifyParticipantYeah, the trade would be more complicated to get the contracts all lined up too. I’m sure the deal will still get done if the rumors are true.

roni3ParticipantFirst off guys Tobias played PF most of the second half of the season with the magic, their startling line up would consist of
PG:Bledsoe/Udrih assuming they trade Nelson
SG:McLemore/Harkless
SF:Butler/Hedo
PF:Harris/Davis
C:Vucevic/Harrington
The Starting five would have so much potential, they are young, have talent, athletic, can spread the floor, etc. Also once Butler is done Harkless will most likely assume that starting SF role and this team will have really good wing defenders as well as great rebounders in Harris and Vucevic. The craziest game I saw last year was when Harris and Vucevic both went for 30 points and 19 rebounds against the Bucks, after that game I knew these two players have a lot of potential.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/26/2013 - 2:35am #805874

Game760ParticipantClippers shouldn’t move him unless Harkless is involved.Seems like front office is finally on things,so doubt they get short end of stick and Rivers likes Bledsoe so he might start him at SG ala Avery Bradley.
