Personally, I believe the Nuggets have the assests, and the right amount of draft picks to contend next year. It just depends on how they use them.

    1) Draft Jaylen Brown or Buddy Hield: I feel like one of these two guys will be there when the Nuggets make there first pick of the first round. Either of these two guys fit the Nuggets style and would be able to contribute right away

    2) Trade Chandler and/or Gallo: Neither of these guys are worth having on the team in my opinion. They are both injury prone, and getting up there in age. You may not get much back for them, but at the same time you aren’t getting much production.

    3) Sign Will Barton and Kenneth Faried to long term deals: Along with Mudiay I think this is the core of this team right now. Barton was on the best sixth mans, and Faried is a manimal, If I was the nuggets gm I would want to sign both of those players to an extension

    4) Trade a 1st round pick for Tyreke Evans. Another guy that fits the way the nuggets play, and I heard the pelicans may be shopping him, and if they do, the nuggets should look and trade for him
