Daprob89ParticipantWarriors and Hawks will soon complete a deal sending Jamal Crawford to Atlanta for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.

sheltwon3Participanti saw it on espn wow. Atlanta will be tought now and bibby may not be back because both Crawford and Joe Johnson have point guard abilities and may play well together.

BlackMamba24Participantyeah it changes the amount of money that they would throw at bibby so i think he will opt to go elsewhere

Daprob89ParticipantThey both can give you 50 on any given nite so with sayin that i think da hawks could be nice

RickyRubio9ParticipantI was hoping the Rockets would find a way to bring Crawford to Houston. Guess not…Good move by the Hawks. This makes it official they’ll draft a PG now.

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantI dont think them adding Crawford who is a poor mans Joe Johnson makes them much better u wouldnt be able to resign Bibby who held that team together, however if they draft Jeff Teague it would negate the effect

BlackMamba24ParticipantTeague doesnt fit what they are trying to do. he is a different kind of point. He wants to score first, distribute second. The PG they get needs to be distributing first because of all the options that they are going to possess on offense

WindyCity23ParticipantJust because they already have a capable SG in Joe Johnson. They should still try to give Acie Law a chance to show what he’s got. Crawford would be just as sporadic, if not more, if he was a bench player for the Hawks.

NYK2010ParticipantBibby is overrated he was a no show vs. the Cavs in the 2nd round. Crawford is unselfish and can help the Hawks draft a pg definately.

knicksfreakParticipantJohnson is a great all-around player. He plays defense and is unselfish with the rock. Crawford is a chucker. He comes over half-court and chucks up 3’s 5 feet behind the arc without anybody in position to rebound. He is not a winning player. Have fun Atlanta. Another talented player that is not a team player or winner.

nateoak10Participantim happy to get his contact off the books but he was a great guy and fun to watch but be warned atlanta, dont start him or play him heavy minutes cause his d will f you guys up

JNixonParticipantI like Crawford…I think he has the best handles in the NBA (imo) and is a super explosive scorer…but like nate oak said, he doesnt try on d so th hawks shouldnt feel like they’ve found a savior and all of a sudden dont need a pg in the draft. He isnt a true point either
