    * You can look at the rest of the mock in my bio. Please leave a comment if you have any questions.

    1. 76ers – Ben Simmons; He’s the best player in this draft. The 76ers found their star that they can build upon. They can now find out who is expendable between Jahlil Okafor and Nerlen Noel. And they should be hoping Joel Embiid comes up healthy because they will be the best young PF/C combo in the league.
    2. Lakers – Brandon Ingram; This is the best case scenerio for the Lakers given that Ben Simmons and D’Angelo Russell wouldn’t fit together. They are both too ball domintated. In Ingram you will get the better shooter of the two and the better defender. He will fit pretty well with D’Angelo Russell.
    3. Celtics – Jamal Murray; They Celtics need shooters on their roster, why not grab the best one in this years draft. He can solve so many problems the Celtics have. This pick, imo. is between him and Buddy Hield. I went w/ Murray due to age/potential as a playmaker.
    4. Suns – Dragan Bender; The Suns can go with potential here and grab Bender. They need to swing for the fences to try to get a star. Bender answers their void at the PF position and for a great young PF/C duo with the emerging Alex Len.
    5. T’Wolves – Kris Dunn; The T’Wolves cleaned housed and the Ricky Rubio might be the next one to go. I view Dunn as a better prospect for the Wolves than Rubio. He have more potential as a shooter and he is a better athlete than Rubio. We have seen what Rubio is, he won’t be a top 10 point guard in this league. They need to start over at the PG position.
    6. Pelicans – Buddy Hield; The Pelicans get the most NBA ready player in this years draft class in Buddy Hield. They are in a win now situation and they are losing Eric Gordon to free agency. They might also want to move Tyreke Evans. That leaves a major void at the 2. Buddy Hield is a sure-fire NBA starter and he can be more than that early on in Alvin Gentry offense.
    7. Nuggets – Marquese Chriss; He will be a perfect fit next to Nikola Jokic at the 4. After the top 6, he is the best prospect in this years draft. This pick make Kenneth Faried expendable.
    8. Kings – Timothe Luwawu; I know this is far fetch, but you never know with the Kings. They tend to be unconventional with their draft picks.
    9. Raptors – Henry Ellenson; He have great tools for the 4 and also the 5. He have pretty good mechanics and free throw percentage that can suggest that he can be a pretty good three point shooter in the NBA. He’s a mobil big man that can really run the court.
    10. Bucks – Wade Baldwin; This might be a reach, but I love the fit w/ the Bucks. I don’t believe the Bucks need a Center, I believe their primary need is a secondary ball handler that can shoot spot up shots and defend the point guard position.
    11. Magic – Deyonta Davis; The Magic have been craving for a defensive anchor these past couple of years. A major issue with the Magic defense is that they lack rim protection. He may be the best one out in this draft.
    12. Jazz – Jakob Poeltl; The Jazz need to just stickpile talent here. Poeltl played ball in Utah and this seem to fit a need for the Jazz. They lack size after Gobert.
    13. Suns – Jaylen Brown; I know this may be a bit low, but I can see him slipping a bit in this draft. Getting Bender and Brown in this draft is a huge get for the Suns. People may won’t to say his jumper is broken, but he shot 38% from 3 before entering college and his mechanics are just fine. He will complement Devin Booker well given his slashing ability and defensive potential.
    14. Bulls – Malachi Richardson; He saw his draft rise and many may say this is way to high for him, but he have great measurments, 6-foot-6; 7′ wingspan; and a 38" vertical,  he can shoot the ball really well, and he have pretty impressive iso moves. He screams lottery pick. The Bulls can use more perimeter fire power. They probably need a point guard, but there are not any point guards you can gamble on at pick 14. Also, wing players own the NBA right now, why not stock pile them.
    15. Nuggets – Malik Beasley
    16. Celtics – DeAndre Bembry
    17. Grizzlies – Skal Labissiere
    18. Pistons – Denzel Valentine
    19. Nuggets – Dejounte Murray
    20. Pacers – Demetrius Jackson
    21. Hawks – Domantas Sabonis
    22. Hornets – Furkan Korkmaz
    23. Celtics – Juan Hernangomez
    24. 76ers – Diamond Stone
    25. Clippers – Tyler Ulis
    26. 76ers – Ben Bentil
    27. Raptors – Thon Maker
    28. Suns – Cheick Diallo
    29. Spurs – Isaiah Whitehead
    30. Warriors – Damian Jones

No way Thon Maker drops all the way to 27. The rest is pretty solid.

Can you explain your reasoning. I can really see him sliding to the second round. Nobody really knows his draft stock right now. I have the Raptors taking him because they have 2 first round picks. They can take the risk. He just don’t have a lot of film to go off of and he’s the defenition of a boom or bust prospect. That can scare teams off if they haven’t really saw him play against top level competition.

The ‘Scouts Honor’ youtube channel is posting action from Thon Makers HS season with new videos going up daily.

Today a video was posted where he had as epic matchup with Josh Jackson. Well worth a look. You guys can decide who came out on top. Safe to say both guys were outstanding.

No one can complain theres not enough Maker footage out there anymore. These videos are very comprehensive.

Unfortunately draftnet isnt letting me post the link, but you should be able to find it if you search.

Switch Jalen Brown to the Jazz a wing is a way higher pryority than a big man. If Brown fell to the Jazz they would take him.

I want Bender for Boston, and would be pissed if Boston passes Thon Maker twice. 16 and 23. I want players with the highest upside and think both Thon and Bender would/could blend in their skills together in the lineup. I would hate another guard. There is too much talent at the 3, 4 and 5 spots and Boston desperately needs those positions.

For starters there is absolutely no way Jaylen Brown falls out of the top 10 a past the Nuggets, Kings and Raptors who all need help on the wing and hes clearly a better prospect then Chriss whp Im high on as well.  If Brown shoots well in workouts he could possibly go 3 and give the Celtics that star theyre searching for.

Wolves would be dumb to draft Dunn over Hield as Buddy would fit perfect alongside Lavine and Wiggins in the back court and open up for lanes for them and Towns to slash thru.  Plus Dunns skill set isnt really that much different from Rubios except while sxoring better hes more turnover prone and not as natural a floor general.

      1.  I can really see Jaylen Brown falling out the top 10. He’s reportedly not doing well at interviews, plus he didn’t have a outstanding year at Cal to suggest to take him that high. The Nuggets need more floor spacers, Kings always does something unexpected, and the Raptors need more help at the 4 than on the wing.
      2. Marquese Chriss is a better pro prosect than Jaylen Brown and he is more of a need for the Nuggets than Jaylen Brown. You can’t tell me a 6-foot-10 233 pound power forward that can shoot the ball and is ultra athletic is not the better prospect than Jaylen Brown,
      3. Dunn is, in fact, different than Rubio and is a better for the T’Wolves than Hield. The NBA is a point guards league and Rubio hasn’t shown much growth for me to suggest that he’s the point guard of the future. Dunn can be a much better pro than Rubio. Also, Dunn is a better slasher, shooter, scorer, and can create for Wiggins, LaVine, and Towns by dribble penetration than Rubio, but they are just a like except for Rubio is a better passer and less turnover prone. LOL. Dunn fits what Coach Thibs look for in a point guard. Hield is great, but they have a shooting guard in LaVine.

I totally can see him falling out of the top 10. I watched 3 of his last 4 games (final Pac-12 regular season game, final Pac-12 tournament game and NCAA game). He looked so bad. I know he has a lot of raw athletic ability, but he can’t shoot and needs a good facilitator to get him the ball in good positions. He also does a lot of dumb basketball things (ex. picking up his third foul then getting his fourth on the other end with a touch foul). He scares me. I could see him going from 12-18.

Also you haVe the Sixers drafting 3 more big men in the first round …

And I Thon Maker will eventually move into move into the top 10 based off interviews, his physical tools and work ethic.  The guy got every scout playing devils advocate to counter the hype hes recieved off mixtapes yet hes still the same calibur big man prospect as guys like Myles Turner and Skal.  Hes played against all the top bigs and has either held his own or dominated like against Ayton. Hes very intelligent and is already in the habit of watching film everyday.  Hes a fierce competitor with a great motor thats 7" barefoot with a 36" vert and guard speed.   His motor, work ethic, physical tools and intelligence make him virtually bust proof.  Did i mention hes a great passer too?

Bentil isn’t really an NBA big man. He’s more of a Harrison Barnes type that will be able to play the 3 or 4 and has good range.

Just throwing this out there but what do you guys think of a trade based around Rubio for the kings 8th pick. Now that the cap went up his contract is pretty reasonable at 13 million per year. If the twolves take dunn at 5, then they could get ellenson at 8. Ellenson would be a good compliment to dieng and towns plus in a year or two when he can shoot threes he will be a great fit.

The Kings get a younger point guard who is on a reasonable contract who can run their offense. NBA players at least like playing with rubio and he should be able to help cousins and gay get easy shots plus possibly help them attract a free agent.
