I’ve used the ESPN trade machine to try a Brooklyn trade and want to know what you guys think:
Brooklyn – Houston:
Brooklyn gets: Terrance Jones, Ty Lawson
Houston gets: Thad Young, Shane Larkin
Rockets could start with Howard/Young/Ariza/Harden/Beverley with Smith/Larkin off the bench
Nets get Lopez/Jones/Johnson/Bogdanovic (or Hollis-Jefferson when healthy)/Lawson
I think this is a good trade for both, Brooklyn gets a clear starting PG in Lawson and a PF in Jones who could fit well to Lopez.
Houston gets another (in my opinion overrated) weapon in Young and a solid back up PG in Larkin, who fits the Houston system pretty good. Also, they get something back for Jones, who, I think, would leave latest during summer.
I don’t have to mention that I’m a Nets fan (unfortunately 😀 ), I would love to see this one….
