Kemba Walker – San Antonio, Detroit, Cleveland, or New York – San Antonio makes the most sense when you look at his fit with the Spurs and the player(s) that the Hornets can recieve. Cleveland does not have any young talent and won’t package the Nets pick, for obvious reasons. New York have Frank Ntlikina, but that does not make much sense in sending him to the Hornets. And Detriot have their lottery first round pick, Luke Kennard, Reggie Jackson, and Stanley Johnson. While the Spurs could send away a package sending away Dejounte Murray, Danny Green, and a first for Kemba Walker.

Nikola Mirotic – Washington, Utah, or Detroit – I believe the Utah Jazz makes the most sense as a trade partner and a fit for their roster outlook. He’s the perfect 4 man next to Rudy Gobert, he spaces the floor or Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio, and he’s Rubio olympic teammate. There’s been reports earlier tonight that Rodney Hood is on the trade block. A trade centered around those two makes sence. The Bulls needs a SF, while the Jazz need someone that compliments Gobert.

Evan Fournier – Detroit – That’s the only team that’s really linked towards him and the trade makes sense for both sides. The Magic want to continue to their long rebuild process and the Pistons want to maximize thier core players potential. It’s safe to assume that Avery Bradley will walk in free agency. Fournier is a nice replacement and a better replacement.

Justin Holiday – Washington, Philadelphia, New Orleans – Philadelphia makes more sense as a trade partner. Washington does not have much outside their top 7-9 players, and it wouldn’t make sense for them to move Mike Scott or Tomas Satoransky. New Orleans don’t really have assets to make the move. While the 76ers could send the Bulls Richaun Holmes in a package to recieve Holiday. Nikola Mirotic, Justin Holiday, and Robin Lopez are all on the trading block. So, when they are all gone, they would need another big men, Richaun Holmes.

Deandre Jordan/Lou Williams – I don’t see the Clippers moving them. The Bucks and Cavs seem to be the teams that are in the drivers seat to recieve Jordan. The Cavs will need to give up that 1st round pick and would Jabari Parker be enough to get DAJ?

Other players that appear to be on the block:

    • George Hill
    • Julius Randle
    • Jordan Clarkson
    • Larry Nance
    • Marcin Gortat?
    • Tyreke Evans
    • Derrick Flavors

The Spurs rarely make a trade. Kemba would be a good fit, I just can’t see the Spurs moving multiple players unless they want to go. Draft picks, ok, but not people – its very much like a family there. They are very inclusive and only tend to lose or acquire players through FA or retirement.
An example – once Pop surprised Patty Mills by introducing the team to Torres Strait Islander history and culture and arranging to celebrate a particular cultural event. Patty said it’d be highly unlikely he’d leave. Pop went on to say Patty Mills would be there as long as he wanted to be as long as hes coaching.

I think the only guy they’ll trade is Kyle Anderson, and thats only if he’s ok with it. Only cos Pop said he’s having trouble finding him the minutes he deserves when Kawhi is playing. If he wants to play more, he may be happy to go. They have Bertans, Forbes, Paul, Gay that can all play on the wing. I think Kyle Anderson and a 1st is realistically about what the Spurs will offer for Kemba. They have a top 5 record anyway. I don’t think they’ll be too concerned if they miss out.

If they have an shot at getting Kemba Walker, Pop would do it. Dejounte has a lot of potential, but you never know how he will turn out. Or if he would ever reach Kemba status.

Going back to the Spurs, it pretty rare that they sign big time free agents. But, they were after Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, and plenty more. They were in on trade talks with Cleveland to get Kyrie Irving. They signed Lamarcus Aldridge. I’m pretty sure they would trade Danny Green and Dejounte Murray to get a top 10 point guard in Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker – Nuggets, Pistons, Pacers, Knicks, Magic
Nuggets really need a PG and they top the list when it comes to destinations for Walker, Hill and Clarkson they have lots of young talent to trade making them the ideal partner for Charlotte.
I think all these teams need an upgrade at PG and these teams have or are likely to offer half decent deals. Indiana can offer the most cap flexibility by far as they can take back one of Charlottes “bad” contracts as well, as Collison and Bogdanovic have very little guaranteed and they can offer up a pick and TJ Leaf as well.
Knicks could send Ntilikina as well as picks out, but could not offer the cap relief.
Magic have plenty of young players and Walker would be an upgrade over Payton no doubt.
Cavs aren’t trading for Walker as I don’t believe they think he is what will keep LeBron in town and Spurs have nothing to offer really.

    Nikola Mirotic – Pistons, Jazz
Jazz as above makes the most sense no doubt, Jazz could send out a future 1st rounder (protected) and maybe Favors who could replace Lopez long-term as he has been nice whilst Gobert out.
Pistons could offer the likes of Kennard to create more shooting.

    Evan Fournier – Pelicans
They could definitely use some more shooting and Fournier could provide that.

George Hill – Nuggets, Knicks, Hill plays a lot like Jack only better is all areas especially defensively and a nice role model for Frank. Could bring stability to Denver at PG spot like he did in Indiana.

Jordan Clarkson – Nuggets, Pacers, Knicks, Magic if they miss on Walker.

Julius Randle – Pacers, Memphis, Phoenix,
I view these teams as guys who could potentially want some talent at PF in their future. Pacers could move expiring deal like Thad’s with 2nd rounder and have an awesome 3-big rotation with Turner, Sabonis, Randle and a bit of Leaf who is starting to look very confident.
Memphis needs youth everywhere IMO and Randle could be a part of their rebuild if they move on from Gasol/Conley combo.
Phoenix simply needs talent and to me I think Randle will be better than Chriss and Gender long-term.

Tyreke Evans – Cavs could offer up their own pick potentially and take a flyer in hopes Evans keeps producing leading to some more wins and making them even more dynamic.

Would San Antonio want George Hill back? I know they traded him for Leonard, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t like him.

They’d be buying low, seems like a Spurs thing to do.

The Spurs did not want to let Hill go, for sure. He’s on 20mil a year though, he’s not going back with that pay packet.

Idk what this question is truly asking haha, but I beleive OKC can realistically take a look at possible 6th men like these at the trade deadline:

    -Tyreke Evans

    -Alec Burks

    -Rodney Hood

    -Garrett Temple

    -Seth Curry

    -Courtney Lee

They can find a back up rebounding big on buyouts. They have some redundant players and draft picks that can help them be legit.

I’m still expecting Carmelo to go to Houston or Cleveland. It’s not working in OKC. Presti would push for KLove but I think they’d even take Ryan Anderson right now. They have told Melo to be a "catch and shoot" third option. He’s almost less valuable than Anderson except for ticket sales. His 3 ball is worse and D is the same.

You clearly don’t watch OKC. It has nothing to do with Russ, PG, or Melo. If you saw the Cavs game you know where their issue lies. Starters sit up 20, come back in only up 9. Need a 6th man. That’s what GSW, HOU, Minnesota all have over OKC.

Also the first experiment of Lebron, Kyrie, and KLove has a record of 18-20 this far into the season and they made the finals.  They’ll be ok

Young center Willy Hernangomez also remained glued to the bench for his 27th DNP of the season. Beyond the issue of killing a 23-year-old’s confidence, the benching of Hernangomez is problematic because it’s hurting his trade value. The Knicks are listening to offers for both the Spaniard and backup center Kyle O’Quinn. According to a source, Hernangomez is attracting the most attention from other teams but that’s also accompanied with the following question: “Why isn’t he playing?”
1 day ago – via New York Daily News

—- I don’t get it, Will Hernangomez can play. A lot of teams would be interested in the young centre. LAC, Milwaukee, Chicago.

Milwaukee should look at Hernangomez or Dedmon

Pistons rumors – Stan has said Luke Kennard, Jackson and Stanley Johnson are all available. Rumor they are after kemba walker

The Cavs contacted Sacramento about a possible trade for guard George Hill, and the New York Times reported that Cleveland has also engaged the Los Angeles Clippers about DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams. The Times said the Cavs have floated J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson, and Iman Shumpert in possible trades — all of them have been here for each of Cleveland’s last three Finals runs and have seen their roles diminish this season for one reason or another. The Cavs are 1-4 in their last five games and privately their marquee players have suggested the team needs a roster upgrade or two. “I like our group,”Tyronn Lue reiterated. “Until we figure out rotations and getting guys healthy and what we have … I like what we have.”

With the deadline a little less than two weeks away, Rodney Hood joins starting big man Derrick Favors as Jazz players who are available. Sources tell The Tribune that throughout the league, Hood is seen as a guy who can score either as a starter or off the bench. He’s improved every year of his career, and can be someone who can be a playmaker off the dribble.

Reggie Jackson and Stanley Johnson for Hood and Rubio ????
