    Eastern Conferance:

    (1) Bulls vs. (8) Pacers – My Pick: Bulls (4-1).  This is no suprise.  The Bulls are a tough team, as they finished with the best overall record in the entire NBA with 1st year coach Tom Thibodeau, and potential MVP Derrick Rose.  I don’t think the Bulls will have any problems in this series, and they slip up and lose a game in Indy, but other than that, it’s all D-Rose.

    (4) Magic vs. (5) Hawks – My Pick: Magic (4-2).  The Hawks got the better of the Magic during the regular season, winning the series 3 games to 1.  But I think Dwight Howard comes prepared, and is ready to lead his team to victory.  I also think Gilbert Arenas will average a solid 12 points a game off the bench in this series.

    (3) Celtics vs. (6) Knicks – My Pick: Celtics (4-3).  This is going to be an entertaining series, and it will be a long, fun series, ending in seven games, where the Boston Celtics will win at home.  Carmelo will have a dominating series, but in the end Rondo’s defense and passing ability will allow the Celtics to wrap up this series.

    (2) Heat vs. (7) 76ers – My Pick: Heat (4-0).  The 76ersare the only above .500 team that can’t roll with the Heat.  They showed it in the regular season and they will show it here as D-Wade and Lebron are going to shine, while Elton Brand has a pretty nice series, averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds a game.

    ————————————————————————————————-

    (1) Bulls vs. (4) Magic – My Pick: Bulls (4-2).  A decent series for the Bulls, but they look a little tired at this point.  Same with Dwight Howard.  He’ll average 25 pointsand 12 rebounds in the series, but he can’t do it himself, and he proves it here.  I think Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng will have a good series here.

    (2) Heat vs. (3) Celtics – My Pick: Heat (4-1).  The Celtics finally show what losing Kendrick Perkins meant for there defense down low, and how Lebron and Chris Bosh can power there way down low.Paul Pierce will have a good series, but Rondoand Garnett will struggle, and Ray Allen will be himself.  15 points.  Glen Davis will have a good series in my opinion though.

    —————————————————————————————————————–

    (1) Bulls vs. (2) Heat – My Pick: Bulls (4-3).  A great series revealing bright futures in the Eastern conference for both teams.  LeBron and Derrick Rose lead the way for both teams, and we finally realize how D-Rose is the better MVP candidate over LeBron James.

The Chicago Bulls are going to the NBA Finals!!!

     My take:

    • Bulls sweep Pacers
    • Heat sweep 76ers
    • Magic beat Hawks 4 games to 2
    • Celtics beat Knicks 4 games to 3. (This should be a fun 7 game series)

    Round 2

    • Bulls beat Magic 4 games to 2
    • Celtics beat Heat. 4 games to 3 (another fun series but Lebron isn’t the closer that Ray Allen and Pierce are so Celtics advance to the ECF.)

    Eastern Conference Finals

    • Bulls beat Celtics 4 games to 2.

The matchup most of us have been waiting for in the finals. Bulls meet Lakers. Phil Jackson coaches his final NBA Finals series against his former team. MJ is gonna have fun watching this one. (Bulls are champions, I hope. Bulls win series 4 games to 3)

Sorry but did you just say Bosh and Lebron will power down low? Neither of them have a post game which involves power. Losing Perkins isn’t going to be a factor against the Heat, he was a Dwight, Bynum stopper.

My predictions can be found either in the other playoff thread someone made or here:

Bosh is a very good player inside as long as he can get the ball.
