Is my mock lottery any good? After #5, I have no idea what’s going to happen, haha.

I can’t see Charlotte not taking a big man.  There’s a reason they are starting Kwame Brown.

I should have emphasized that I just did the lottery…ah well, haha.

That’s exactly why I put Williams to Minny…Kahn is clueless, and will make a log jam even worse, like he did with PG’s 2 years ago, and at SF this year.

I’m not so sure Knight goes ahead of Burks, at least this year. Knight still needs to demonstrate PG skills- right now he’s a scoring PG who doesn’t always make great decisions. Utah has needed a SG for years, and Burks will fit well with them.

I’m not sold on Walker being a Top 10 pick- though on a down year, it could happen. Going down the list, most of those teams look set at the PG. I’m assuming Cleveland will pick Irving, Minny will have Irving or Rubio, Irving will be gone by the time Sacramento and Toronto pick (plus, Tor. have Bayless), Utah has Harris, Det. seems content with Stuckey at the moment, and Milwaukee has Jennings. Charlotte will take Knight, he’s the better long-term prospect than Walker, GS has Ellis/Curry, Utah may pick Walker with their second pick- but again, they have Harris, so I’m betting it’ll be Jimmer.

They can take anybody that’s not a slow footed, unathletic PF (Love) and be fine.  Not sure if they see Beasley as a future piece, if they feel Williams is a SF I can definitely see them bringing Beas off the bench, now whether or not he’s cool with that it’s up to him, he has to learn how to defend SFs this offseason or it will be to the bench he goes.

Not bad, but needs to be fixed

    • Derrick Williams will be the first pick of the draft if the Cavs pick first. I guarantee that. Read the thread on this site explaining why the Cavs would pick him over Kyrie Irving and hopefully you will see why.
    • I really think the Wolves will select Perry and have him play the 4. I know its a little high for him at two, and he should probably go with Kyrie instead but if that’s what Kahn wants then I guess he’s idiot. What else is new? lol
    • Don’t see Montie going to Phoenix, did it myself then I realized that him and Frye would not work out together cuz they are the same type of player. I have him going to the Bucks. Remember they drafted Yi to play the role of a Pau Gasol with Bogut playing Center. Did not work out but might try again with Montie.
    • Kemba is going top 10. I guarantee it. I have him at 8 right now but I don’t think that will move.
    • Knight to Charlotte-pretty good that’s what I think will happen to.
    • I really hope Utah’s two picks are Jan Vesely or Alec Burks and Terrence Jones. In that order.
    • I think Jimmer will go 13 to Phoenix who could use a new PG that Nash could mentor. Hopefully he will teach him how to pass and defend better. He’ll need to do those two things in order to suceed in the NBA.

It’s not "Montie". It’s "Motie", as in "Donatas Motiejunas".

Because he has faith Rubio will come this next season, whether he does or not, IDK.  Perry has the foot speed to be a 3, but the skills?  Not yet, but who else would they draft?  Love needs athletes around him, and the Wolves need players with high potential.  Same goes for Rubio, putting together a cast that plays to his strengths, the ability to get out and run, why not a near 7 footer who consistently out runs guards?  Does Perry Jones have the lateral quickness to effectively guard 3s?  IDK, it seemed to me his limitations were more from a lack of drive than anything physical, but if Harrison Barnes doesn’t come out, who else would they draft?  Derrick Williams?  He has skill, but does he have the foot speed to be a 3?  I didn’t get to see him play outside of the Tourney, is he quick enough/athletic enough/long enough to effectively play alongside Love?  How about Jonas Valanciunas?
