druneave3ParticipantFor a Franchise going forward. Hypothetical, that you can keep this group of guys together for several years….
TEAM A
Kyrie Irving
Jimmy Butler
Paul George
Anthony Davis
Larry SandersTEAM B
Steph Curry
Klay Thompson (had to keep Splash Brothers together!)
Kevin Durant
Derrick Favors
Andre DrummondTEAM C
Damian Lillard
James Harden
Harrison Barnes
Serge Ibaka
Marc GasolI’ll take TEAM A. Tough to pass up Curry/Thompson/Durant trio but I like defense. Incredible length in frountcourt with George, Davis, Sanders and 4 great defenders when you add Butler in Team A, plus a 20 year-old point guard who is already considered a top PG. This is also counting on Anthony Davis living up to KG/Duncan comparisons.

NickWayne87ParticipantIt’s tough to pass up on a Curry/Thompson/Durant trio…..so tough that I can’t do it i’ll take team B….perfect inside/outside complimentary players.

B-ball fanParticipantTeam B. Worst set of bigs, but seriously, the shooting on that team. That would be the scariest team in the league. Get Favors and Drummond to screen, roll, and offensive rebound, and then, three-point shooting. How do you help against that team? The others are good, but Curry and Durant would be insane on the same team. Really fun to watch. And imagine that they could have been together. Harden was a great pick, obviously, but Curry would have been to.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTeam B easily….KD is a top 5 player, Steph Curry is the best shooter in the game and turning a whole lot of heads with his playoff performance as well is Thompson, Andre Drummond has the [otential to be one of if not the best big in the NBA down the road, and Favors is crazy athletic….

machu46ParticipantIt’s definitely between A and B. As good as Team B is offensively, Team A is that good defensively, and Butler, George, and Davis have so much offensive potential they still have to tap into. I think I’d lean that way.

rileymcshea3ParticipantEasily B Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and KD would be so unstoppable on Offense and imagine trying to score on a 6″10 Durant, and 2 big athletic shot blockers, they would lockdown the paint. If the other team tries to out shoot them, they will definitely lose that battle.

llperezI’d have to take a long time trying to decide between b and c. C has the best bigs by far and I love Lillards game and think in a few years he’ll be right there in the conversation with curry and Irving. plus harden and barnes on the wings are both fantastic scorers and shooters. And with b u have curry and durant, I mean how does any reasonable person even think about passing up that duo.

FastAndFuriousParticipantB is the best team….
Curry and Durant can both shoot the lights out handle the ball and slash as well at an ELITE level
Thompson is an ELITE shooter
Drummond and Favors as i said will clog up the middle on defense and both have potential to be good on offense.
This team can shoot the lights out….which will spread the floor, they(Durant and Curry) can drive as well so basically Durant and Curry couldn’t be checked and it will open up the game for Thompson who is another knockdown shooter, and Drummond and Jefferson will get their fair share of points just because they are so athletic, I don’t see how you can go against team B, Curry and Durant alone is enough to turn heads.

FastAndFuriousParticipantYou can possibly have:
The BEST SF in the NBA in Durant
A top 5 PG in the NBA in Curry
The best big in the NBA in Drummond
A top 10 PF possibly in Derrick Favors
And a top 10-15 SG possibly in Klay Thompson
This a no brainer…How can you really compete with that? And this team is sooooo dangerous because of Curry and Durant’s ability to slash and be very very very accurate from 3pt range!
Ok im done now lol

trueone313detroitParticipantKD is the best real SF in the league (because Lebron has no true position since he plays them all. Amazing he is just a great player who starts at SF but plays like a magic j game 1-4 Spot 5)

BiggysmallsParticipantI’m gonna be different and take Team B…oh wait.
Even though they have the worst bigs of the thing, Favors is probably as good as Ibaka and Davis. Irving and Lilard are very good PGs, but Curry is just as good or better.
Durant is just so much better then anybody else on the list and true stars always win in the league…its unfortunate for the whole notion that “the best team wins” but at the end of the day its seemingly about the individual star players carrying the heaviest weight. Durant is the 2nd best player in the NBA.

theEDGEParticipantB, not only for Durant.
I see that next season Favors and Drummond will get the time n the court to show how good they are for 40 minutes and not for the 15-20 minutes they got this year.
Also think that those two guys guys are double-double machines.
If Curry decides to pass more with this team he could be leading the league in assists.0 - Posted on: Sat, 05/11/2013 - 12:49am #772294
