r377ParticipantToday, Miami’s winning streak of 13 games came to an end.
I really have to applaud them by not going into tank mode. They have had 3 potential starters (Bosh, Winslow, Richardson) all injured, but they have kept trying to win games.
Also love James Johnson – he knows his role and limitations but plays hard

BleedGreen808ParticipantJames Johnson has been a BIG part of the turn around for the Heat. How was Dwayne Casey not playing in Toronto? He’s such a versatile player on both ends of the floor.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantThey are effing up. There has to be a safe median between hinkie’s 76ers and these heat and blazers in terms of strategy…

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantThey’ve really found their identity and begun to get past the loss of D Wade and Chris Bosh
That said, I hope they take a chance on Harry Giles if he’s still on the Board
A front court with Giles and Whiteside intrigues me more than adding a Guard or Wing, I feel like they have some decent depth there, I’d love to see them take a huge swing for the fence pick and Giles would fit that bill IMO

Jr. ROXASParticipantWhat Miami does very well more than a lot of teams is that they MOVE THE BALL. You gotta give a ton of credit to Coach Spo for getting these guys to play the right way.
Everyone is moving on the floor and their drive the paint with a purpose. They run the best dribble-drive offense in the league and if hockey assists were being tracked, I’m confident they’re one of the tops in the league.
Not to mention their player development is maybe just second to Spurs in the league. How many low drafted guys have they turned in to starters/key rotational players? Whiteside, Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson, Willie Reed, and now McGruder and Okaro White.
I saw glimpses of this team’s potential right in the pre-season because their ball and player movement was just on point. And Waiters was actually buying in to Coach Spo’s system.

ZouldiersParticipantAs a Heat fan, I am blessed that we even have a streak let alone 13 straight games. This team could have tanked when they were 11-30 but nope they play hard every game offensively and defensively. Now, as much as I want Giles, he had a major injury and that’s the last thing this team needs given their bad luck with health.

negguaryParticipantthat they’re mocked to take on this site is the guy they should take….lauri fits perfectly with white side with his ability to stretch the floor and the pressure to be outstanding defensively isn’t that height playing with white side.
