There’s’s 4 clear tiers for me. Kobe & AI Tier 1, then DWade and Manu Tier 2. VC, TMac and Ray in Tier 3. The rest in Tier 4.

I suppose I’ll get questioned about Manu, but to me hes easily there. He was a major reason his teams won multiple rings, he made all star teams, he changed roles and still remained effective, had a good 3 pointer, great drive and passing, great defender. Don’t forget he contributed at 40+ as well. The real forgotten stuff though was how good he was early in his NBA career, just after he torched Europe. The ultimate accomplishment – leading Euro League players and NBA journeymen over a team of NBA all stars to win an Olympic gold. He was unquestionably the reason for Argentina’s victory. That was 14 years ago. Think about how long he’s been playing at a high level – and like a maniac too, full speed. Top 3 and it’s a no brainer as far as I’m concerned.

I’d personally have to put Ray Allen over Manu Ginobilli. Ray Allen helped his teams to 2 championships instead of Manu’s 3, but the biggest difference is that Ray Allen was significantly better in his prime. He was the best player on his team for the majority of his career while Manu was a central figure. I personally don’t place a lot of value on Olympic accomplishments especially when comparing a foreign player to a US player.  Foreign NBA players are asked to truly carry their Olympic squads while US NBA players are asked to fit in with a whole team of NBA stars. The US guys rarely ever get an opportunity to shine for more than a game or two in the Olympics.

I’m not too sure if you all are comprehending the draft itself. It is solely based on their seasons with the team assigned beside the names; not career based projections.

Hah. Knew that wouldn’t be popular!

Because for my shooting guard, I value size, shooing, defense, and attitude. AI would get dominated defensively in most playoff series in 2018, he’s a crazy inefficent scorer, and he’s destroyed as many teams as he’s built.
