It’s official, Lamar Odom won the sixth man of the year award. I guess this sort of makes up for his all-star snub. At least the nba recognized his very good season.

He deserved the 6th man award but can we please stop talking about him as an All-Star snub? LaMarcus Aldridge and ZBO were more deserving canidates than Odom and they were left off the team so I really don’t see why Odom should have made it.

Very well deserved, he did everything they asked him to do, step it up as a starter when Bynum was injured early in the season and then come off the bench, and he did it all consistently, he did it to benefit his team and accepted whatever role he needed to, he is truly a winner and he has shown it.

This just shows how incopetent those journalists are.

Lamar Odom is a great player, way better than Terry, but he got his good numbers when he was starting at the beginning of this season which boosted his overall numbers. When he came off the bench he always played worse and got weaker numbers.

    Terry should’ve gotten it seriously.

Same as last year when Manu got a bunch of votes, although he sucked hard because of injury at the beginning of the season when he came of the bench and boosted his numbers when he started at the end.

He definitly deserves it, bottom line he’s a great teammate does whatever needs to be done doesn’t complain just workss hard anybody team in the league would take him in a heartbeat. And just a point I have to make to Chrischi if you want to get into the numbers thing you know Terry is always the 2nd scoring option when Dirk is in the game and when hes not sometimes he the 1st option, but I get your point your right if you look at it that way but all you need to win the 6th man of the year is to come off the bench more then you started

How much of a difference do you think terry’s stats would be if he starts, I honestly think he thrives off that bench role being able to worry about nothing but coming in and scoring and changing the momentum of the game

There isn’t a more valuable bench player to his team than Lamar Odom.

He defends all five positions and can play all five positions offensively. He rebounds. He scores. He’s shot the ball well this season. He’s arguably been the most consistent Laker all season.
