BeardedDragon84ParticipantWhat’s the davis trade pieces?

khaled_a_dParticipantHmm, they can offer a lot tbh. Not sure if it is the best package though.
But:
DSJ,Knox,Ntilikina,RJ Barrett,Mavs 2021 & 2023 1st round picks, Knicks 2020 & 2022 1st round picks.
Basically, this year 3rd pick, last 2 years 9th pick. and 4 future 1st round pick along former lottery pick.
Mitchel or Trier could be in the mix too0- Posted on: Thu, 05/16/2019 - 4:49pm #1132934
BeardedDragon84ParticipantSorry, I was trying to get Nostradamus here to predict what was going to go across to get Davis. Or you, or anyone… I just wanna get a sense what people think would be enough. It’s a dangerous question I know… anonymous forums tend to be a hotbed of hot-takes.
And they can offer any of their firsts up to 2025 I think, maybe 2026 as well once the draft starts. Just cant have no picks for 2 years in a row going forward. Be interesting if they gave their own 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 picks and just kept Dallas’ picks knowing they have Durant or some help coming.

Robb_CParticipantAnthony Davis to Los Angeles..
Pelicans were gifted Zion so they can stop pouting and pull the trigger on the LA deal..
Pelicans get a stable of players and the 1st and 4th pick.
Not a bad trade.

The GoatParticipantYou must be joking. Thats the 4th pick in what’s possibly a 3 man draft, paired with a stock of shit players that can’t make the playoffs even with Lebron, and the key one – Ingram – has blood clots. That was Magic’s idea, then he came out publicly acknowledging he’s done a bad job, then quit so he didn’t get fired.
If the Pelicans take a deal from the Lakers or the Knicks, they should have their licence taken away and the team moved to Seattle.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantcome on man as dumb as he is, Kyries not dumb enough to sign with the knicks. Is it just me or does it feel like Anthony davis’ trade value is decreasing by the day…

OhCanada-ParticipantYeah thats what I mean. His value cant be that high right now. He’s got a year on his contract and is no gaurantee to sign anywhere but the Lakers and the Pelicans refuse to trade him there haha.

Robb_CParticipantNike LeBron and Klutch Sports..are going to give Zion the Prince Treatment..
Zion signs with Nike and Rich Paul
This give Rich Paul the leverage to get Anthony Davis to Los Angeles..

OhCanada-ParticipantWhy would that give him leverage?

Andv1 WaitingParticipantDepends who is doing their recruiting this offseason? As they don’t really have any names in the building unless D.J is going to take a discount and get his team of buddys on board: Butler,K.D and Kyrie?
No D.J though makes it alot harder as there really isn’t anyone that makes a superstar go hmm how about those knicks who would look like a rebuild job otherwise..If they had two more good drafts though like lakers did a big name may consider them next season though..
So assuming D.J is there I could see the following moving teams:
Butler and Kyrie first option as I see them being the most likely to move and they would go if the money is right.
K.D and Kyrie Second option if Kyrie has his ears assuming they win the ring this season. But this is a 50/50 call due to K.D being a flip flopper(someone that is indecisive). As he may say yes but just as likely stay with GSW as he probably doesn’t want the abuse like he got when he left OKC..
Demarcus and Butler if the Knicks wanted to save face assuming Kyrie and K.D say no though could be a wild card though..
But IMO I think the Knicks just stay the course this season get another reasonablly high pick and pick up 1 really solid piece this offseason and hope that another really good player likes what they see and wants to come over to NYC. Sort of like what happend to Lakers this offseason.
