not really sure what people were expecting, they have no defense at all, when Charlotte scores 114 that’s pretty bad.

drop off. but i didnt see it being this bad. 1-9 in last 10. this is horrible. chauncey is playing horribly after coming frm injury. hes taking stupid 3 pt shots.stupid fouls. hes not being the leader i thought he would. but its not just him its the whole team. there playing with no fire. i dnt wanna see another mets collapse or giants collapse. knicks will hear the boos if they lose to magic.

You haven’t watched Chauncey play much have you?  He always takes stupid 3pt shots.  In Denver and in Detroit

The Knicks are in dissarray like the Heat were a while back.  I don’t understand it.  It is not just defense because the should at least be outscoring some team at least once in a while but now it seems they can’t score or defend.

The Knicks lack consisten role players. The top teams have guys who they know will bring it every night.

Lakers know Odom and Brown are gonna bring energy, offense and defense every night.

Boston knows Rondo is gonna harrass the opposing PG and Big Baby is gonna come in and clean up messes

SAS know Gary Neal and George Hill will play with energy, Blair is gonna bang, Bonner is gonna knock down shots.

Chicago has the ultimate team defense as no one slacks off when they come in 1-12 is gonna play together and hold eachother down

New York will most like only have Carmelo and Amar’e on the team when they truly become contenders in 2 years

Knicks have no fire they play with no energy.

Not going to blame the defense when the offense has blown 4 of the past 5 games with horrible 4th quarters.

Only 4 games up in the loss column up against the Bobcats.

Bucks and Pacers both loss tonight, even if the Knicks were in the lottery the Rockets have the right to swap picks and Houston might make the playoffs.  They are the 9th seed in the West and gaining on the Grizz who don’t have Rudy Gay for the rest of the year.

Say what you want about the Heat, but they were never under five hundred, and they could even hand a beating to lower teams most of the time. But even more so, they play…

Some of you guys apparently don’t get it. Basketball is a game where Team Chemistry, Balance, and Depth are critical to success. Prior to the trade, I would use all of the above to describe the Knicks who were young, confident, and getting better every week.

After the trade, they have no team chemistry, no balance, no depth, they are leaderless, and in a state of disarray. As I predicted, Anthony and Amare are not a good combination. Both guys are black holes, the ball stops moving when it comes to them. You can have one guy on a team who is a black hole, but not two.

In addition, I don’t think Carmelo Anthony is a good fit in a D’Antoni run system. Expect Walsh, or that mega idiot Dolan, to show D’Antoni the door at the end of the season. They won’t blame the players they signed, they will blame the coach.

On the flip side, Denver is a team getting better every game and now they have tremendous potential for the future.

idk what our bigs do when a gaurd drives in. a normal player would step up either foul, take the charge or go for the block. but yesterday amare and the other bigs just watched the bobcats players score layups. and why were the playing back on captin jack. we knew he had a injury so play up. dont let his J beat you. make him drive to the rim.i want amare to try more on D and less on offense now we have melo. and if either one them takes a break on deffense put in the bench. we saw our bench brings some fire on the deffensive side.  i like the idea of bringing fields of bench. dantoni needs to make a change or i want him out.

It is what it is everyone knew they traded away this particular season when they made that deal. good thing is they have a great chance of getting KP, and a very bright future, brighter then before.

i actually heard way more people suggest this move made the knicks more competitive this season.

For at least two years, I’ve read one excuse after another for poor decisions by NY management using that tired old FUTURE argument. Two years ago it was don’t worry about losing all of those draft choices, this will put us in a better postion to land LeBron and DWade. Yeah right!

This year it’s obvious that many of the problems I predicted are happening to NY since the trade for Anthony. Instead of facing up to the issue and admitting that maybe it was a mistake, NY fans keep talking about how this sets us up for the future.

Forget the future, examine the facts we have directly in front of us. NY Knick management keeps  making big mistakes so hold them accountable. And if you guys are so enamored of the future, how do you feel about management trading away number one draft choices?

Yeah the future talk only started after they started losing. Before that it was about winning now( at least 2nd round) and winning in the future.  I think Kenyon Martin would be a good pick up for them. He is not gonna let a guard just drive down the lane and he’s a pretty good defender and rebounder
