I think the knicks will get a 2nd round draft and a late 1st round draft pick….IF they get curry which i hope they do they could get a chase buddinger or a terrence williams in the 2nd round you go after danny green or luke harongody from notre dame…….if someone like a jordan hill demar derozen or tyreke evans falls they can take them at the 8th and then maybe get a pg like lawson teague or maynor later in the round…personally i think they should go after damion james from texas hes a freak and he can play defense……my ideal draft would be curry/flynn at 8 in the late 20’s get damion james and with the 2nd round pick i belieive danny green or harongody….there will be no big guys in the draft in the later round…….harongody will bring hustle and heart something the knicks need……..james would bring toughness and curry would bring smart play and the best shooter in the draft by far………What would your ideal summer league roster be…….i love the summer league cause its a chance for the young player to play with each other and get big minutes

All the knicks are going to be is a summer league team this year. I am sorry for NY fans. Ny is going to dump their team this year to try and sign one of the big 2010 free agents. Maybe Bosh. They dont even own their projected number 1 overall pick next draft ! (utah) ny will be forced to sign 6-7 role players. They wont recover for at least 5 years.

Are you kidding me bad for 5 years. Even if they don’t land LeBron they have tons of cap room to get a top player or two in 2010 especially the way the economy in the NBA is going. Not to mention Jeffries and Curry’s contracts expire in 2011 giving them 18 mill. more off the books. They don’t have next year’s pick yeh but the team will be probably better than last year so thats a 10-14 pick not top 5. You might’ve missed last 5 years it was all thanks to Isiah Thomas & his terrible trades for Marbury, Curry etc. He’s not here anymore or did you miss his firing, Walsh is the GM not the greatest but he’s more than capable. He unloaded two terrible contracts in Crawford, Randolph & got back a decent young forward in Harrington. Most likely Knicks will draft a pg though I think they should go after a big guy. You can always buy a pick in the mid to late 1st round or 2nd round if you like a player. Also if you want to make a trade they have 5 expiring contracts to get some talent back. There isn’t much of a market for David Lee except for Oklahoma who might blow the Knicks away, but I think he resigns with the Knicks for 7-8 million a year. Nate is probably gone maybe we get something back in a sign n trade. Most teams would love to be in the Knicks predicament. I think people forget this is NY & the owner isn’t really worried about luxury taxes or paying the extra $$ for big time players like owners for the Clips, Grizzlies, Hawks & some other teams. Besides at Lakers games what team draws more stars in the audience than the Knicks.

Hopefully Gallinari wil be healthy. I think Jrue holiday would be a great addition to our team because he adds alot of size at the point and is a very good defender. We could also buy another pick and scoop up whoever falls. I’d like to give Gerald Green a shot as well. Chandler will most likely have surgery and miss summer league.

Add another steal to that mix and we’ll look pretty strong.

curry damian james and harongody with gallanari……and sene startting…..i dont think holiday will be there at 8 the knicks need to get 1-2 more picks while there at it…..to have a successful draft

Budinger and Williams slipping into the second round? Williams maybe, but Budinger is a lock for the first. If anybody falls it’s Derozan.

Jrue Holiday will be a Bust hes a taller version of Chris Duhon Jennings is much better and hes just as good of a defender since he went to Europe if Holiday and Jennings are there at 8 Jennings is the pick hands down he can push the break better than Holiday you know hes a great passer and hes a great athlete Jrue Holiday is average at everything.
