Since there is a lack of pg prospects do you think Kemba will enter the draft and possibly be a lottery or top 20 pick..IMO he goes because next year the draft will be loaded with pg’s

With the amount of point guards in next year’s draft, it would be wise if Kemba were to enter the draft this year. With pre draft workouts, he could potentially be drafted anywhere from 15-30.

a team should bring him up to back up their awesome PG in the mid-late 1st round like Utah and NO did last year…..at worst he sould be an awesome defender IMMEDIATELY and probably start in a year or two….there aren’t many guys I think can stay with Brandon Jennings or Chris Paul but I think Kemba can….teams that make sense….

    Dallas, Spurs, Orlando, Cleveland, Lakers…..

    basically anyone good lol….

I believe he should enter this year too because it is very weak with point guards

I think he should go, b/c i personally think he is garbage.

Thus, since he hasnt been exposed yet to scouts, go while you still have them fooled.

Yea man, I don’t know where Kemba Walker’s getting all this draft hype from. Don’t get me wrong I like him as a player and seen him play since he was at Rice HS in New York. But this guy is so far away from being an nba point guard, its comical. This kid is extremely raw as a point guard and just gets by on physical ability alone at the college level. He doesn’t play with the poise and understanding and control of the point guard position that past UConn guard have displayed such as most recently Marcus Williams and AJ Price. He’s way too outta control too much of the time, as he showed that last possession of the NIT game against Va Tech. He just doesn’t know when to stop and when to go. He pounds the ball way too much and needs to get the junk outta his game and play the position as it should be played. His shot has gotten better, but he still needs to work on it his release, too inconsistent in his release point and doesn’t display smooth mechanics in his shot all the time.

For his long term benefit, he should exhaust his eligibility, because as an undersized pg, you must show that you have “it” to have some longevity in this league, and not be outta the league tryna make a training camp after a couple seasons when a team gives up on you. He has the raw ability, he just needs to gain more experience playing at this level to learn all the intricacies of the position. Yea there’s a chance he may go late first round by default because of the lack of pg depth, but there’s a chance he may not, it happens to underclassmen every year in the draft. I hope he listens to the advice Calhoun gives him.

but he isn’t the same kind of point as Price or Williams….he is athletic as a mug unlike those two….plus in the tourney last year Kemba outplayed Price….he was the star on that team and the reason they went to the Final Four….

He had a good game in the elite 8 I believe against Mizzou but idk about outplaying him and carrying uconn to the final four on his own. And because he’s athletic, that means he’s good enough for the NBA? Everyone in that league is athletic at the guard position.
