basagliaParticipantIt’s bad enough with Dunn and Chris Wright and Fredette, but Kalin Lucas? Seriously?
There must be some inside joke going on with the Nolan Smith evaluation on this site. No other sites have him as low as this one and they sure as heck don’t have all those over him.
Must be nice to not be held accountable for your evals and rankings.

JNixonParticipantI like how you’re acting like Kalin Lucas is a scrub. Smith and Lucas are probably near equal prospects anyway, and the draft is like 9-10 months away, so it’s not even something worth talking about.

basagliaParticipantI like how NBADraft.net is acting like they didn’t see Smith get better week after week and turn it up a notch in March, while most of the guys of similar size and skill that are ranked ahead of him wilted under the lights.

JNixonParticipantLucas did the exact same thing in the 2009 tourny didn’t he? And he probably would’ve did the same thing in the 2010 tourny if not for injury

Malik-UniversalParticipantiggy 9 got a point, i watch kalin lucas a lot, when he was healty, guy was a beast… but nolan was also a beast in the tourney this yr, similar to lucas when msu went to the title game two years back
the better pro prospect is smith imo

ilike.panochasParticipantSmith and Lucas are both 2nd round prospect so you can flip flop between the two because the gap between them is very little. Although I do understand why Jimmy Ferdette is ahead of Smith, because he has 1 special quality and that is his 3 point shooting. Usually if your great at 1 thing, you can have a long career as a role player/specialist for an NBA team, like Steve Kerr who was great at shooting but sucked at everything else.

RUDEBOY_Participantmost scouts view nolan smith as an overacheiver and not athletic enuff…..

JNixonParticipantI see Smith as an overachiever, but he reminds me alot Mario Chalmers. I think he’d have to be in the right situation to have success, but I think Smith will be bes suited as a backup PG in the NBA.
