Not sure if it means the season or career. Hopefully just this season.

Of course he doesn’t mean career.

Wall just needs rest. That’s what usually heals knee tendonitus. One of the great things about Blake Griffin sitting out for his entire rookie season was that he was able to completely heal from the knee tendonitus (in both knees) that he’d had since his freshman year of college.

It’s not like the Wizards will make the playoffs, so Wall will be able to rest the majority of the off-season/summer.

I don’t know much about knee-tendonitis, but I did have some pretty bad achilles tendonitis, and if the two are anything alike, it is a pain in the ass, but you can definitely play through it.

At least for me, once I would get warmed up it wasn’t a problem at all, it was just at the beginning of games/practices when it was an issue.

Knee tendinitis makes your knee very sensitive. Pain killers help. He is skinny and runs and jumps so much that as a rookie his legs probably aren’t strong enough. Once he strengthens his legs the pain should stop.

Yes, they help ease the pain and if they are anti-inflammatories they also help with the swelling as well. I was actually fine when I was playing, it’s just I would get home and I couldn’t walk.
