Lebron’s HairlineParticipantCeltics forward Jared Sullinger is out for the rest of the season with a back injury he suffered on Wednesday against Sacramento.

JunkYardDogParticipantI really hope Boston won’t trade pierce… it would be very very tough.
Rebuild now but there are other assets to trade : lee, bass, melo… maybe kg but not pierce please.0- Posted on: Fri, 02/01/2013 - 11:14am #743765

FUNKYBUNCHParticipantThis is what teams were afraid of about him on draft night… In Boston this year, when it rains- it pours…

slash787ParticipantThat sucks he was having a solid rookie season. I hope this doesn’t ruin his career with nagging injuries.

220ParticipantNo luck for the Celtics this season. Sorry Celtics fans. Hopefully Jared Sullinger can come back healthy next year and be better than ever.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantAs a Wolves fan, your woes regarding injuries are cute. Check out the Wolves this year if you want to see a team REALLY ravaged by injuries

tiberiusParticipantPoor Boston 🙁 I wish that even a fraction of what the US spends as waste on some unnecessary wars in the middle east could be used to research and better sports medicine, therapy and athlete performance. It’s a terrible pity when talent and opportunity is wasted by something as unpredictable and unfair as injuries.

Mr. 19134ParticipantSo you rather have the federal goverment spend more money researching how to keep professional athletes safe, then to keep American Soldiers safe or that the goverment should worry more about pampered athletes then national security?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI wish soldiers who defend this country get payed more then 18,000 dollars a year putting their life on the line rather than athletes making millions to play sports

The8thDeadlySinParticipantBoom!! I am not a vetran and I would be terrified to even consider joining but “TheRecedingOne” has hit the nail on the head with this one.. This post deserves 1000 green thumbs…
Its easy for us to lose perspective on what is important in our country and the world…

ChrispyParticipantComment considering LeBron’s comments today about his lack of a paycheck…
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/01/2013 - 5:07pm #743839
Mr. 19134ParticipantWe make more then that but it’s still nowhere near enough considering what we have to do.
0- Posted on: Fri, 02/01/2013 - 5:39pm #743844
Lebron’s HairlineParticipantYeah but that is roughly the average but if you factor in all the benefits it is 38,000

thricethefunParticipantThere was a reason he was medically red flagged and so many gms passed on him…

RafterParticipantVery sad for Sullinger, to have back problems at his age is never a sign of longevity. The Celtics are going to miss him, I expect Fab Melo is going to be given more responsibility due to this injury.

apb540ParticipantHear ya on that. I also wish we weren’t putting soldiers in other countries just so we could take over their governments, raid all of their resources (oil, lithium, gold, etc.)
And Tiberius, as someone who lived on an island (max protected himself) and did whatever he pleased, I would think you already know the answer to this….. You have all the money, resources, brain power, actual power, etc. since basically 1913 (see 2/3 and 12/23) so why not take advantage of this and master things such as the art of medicine? What I’m saying is they already have/are.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe had a major problem with his hamstrings/quads, hip flexors, etc… There’s a reason the doctors red flagged him. I wasn’t a big fan of the Celtics picking him with a first round pick.
He may be damaged goods. He’s an undersized and overweight power forward with major back/hip issues.
I’ve always compared him to Sean May.
