Zeke33ParticipantWhy is Hobson undrafted on almost everyones mock? Thats ridiculous. That guy can play. and I have not seen Jahmar Young on anyones mock at all. Hes gunna surprise some people. Hobson had a bad Tourny but they will both be steals

Providencefriars15ParticipantYoung wont get drafted. There are just too many options with a better record. On the other hand Hobson should be drafted, he can definitly play. In my mock I have him at 36, but he could go late in the first. He SHOULD NOT go undrafted.

Zeke33ParticipantI completely agree with Hobson. Late first might be a little high but it wont surprise me if he does. as for Young… I do think there are guys who are more proven to go ahead of him but Young can play. i think he’ll eventually make it if he doesnt get drafted. i have Hobson at 46 to the suns and Young at 56…Your prob right on Young i just hope he does well

Zeke33ParticipantI could see Hobson in NY. D Antonio likes those type of guys and euros of course lol. Fastforward ur right on Young ALOT of red flags. i think thats what will keep him from maybe getting drafted with all those arrests and stuff. but as far as talent i think he has Solid NBA ready talent. we’ll see. I hope he does well to

JNixonParticipantYoung is a pretty talented offensive player. Did any of you guys see him play against Michigan State in the tourny? He was pretty brilliant in that game and almost led an upset. He did mess everything up with his recent clash with the law though.
Darrington Hobson isn’t that good to me. He reminds me of Mardy Collins honestly. He lacks athleticism, isn’t a very good shooter, and pretty much plays like a big PG out of necessity because he’s not truly good at any other position. He’s just not that good a prospect to me. I think he goes in the late 2nd round, or at least that’s where he deserves to be picked.

the barronParticipantJahmar Young has some serious character issues. He got arrested a couple of times in Las Cruces. He’s not worth the risk, not even a second round pick. Hobson should be a late second rounder.

flybobbyflyParticipantIve watched the lobos my whole life. there has NEVER been a player at that school more overrated than hobson. i would be surprised if he ever made it in the nba.

Zeke33ParticipantI watched Hobson in the tournament and i must admitt i was not impressed at all. Theres something about his game that makes me believe he would be a good role player though. I dont think hes a go to guy on any level but i think he could be an OK reserve? Hes a complete wild card.

the barronParticipantMan if only Roman Martinez was more athletic he would make a solid role player in the association. Guy was a good 3 point shooter and was a very smart player and kept improving every year. The lobos wouldn’t have had the year they had without Martinez who was more important to them than Hobson.

scoutguruParticipantHobson could easily go in the 24-30 range cause at that point in the draft, its really beauty in the eye of the beholder. But he could also easily go in the mid 40’s, as some other options might be a lil more intriguing to teams. He’s one of those guys he seems like a Jared Dudley type. A real safe pick who you know will contribute at the next level and is a guy you could stick in there as a solid role player at that 3 spot. As a high b-ball IQ and just seems like he knows how to play the game. Nothing flashy, but makes basketball plays. His shot will improve and he will be in the league, maybe not contributing much initially, but will be an ok pro over time. I was able to see about 7 or 8 of his games and came away with a good vibe about him.
