3aglesParticipantJust wondering why he is rated so low at this point(I know all that can change pretty quick), he came into the season with some pretty lofty expectations, even declared for the draft. what’s he missing right now that’s keeping him from the 1st round and that guaranteed money?

Robb_CParticipantsame reason isiah thomas had a low draft stock, GM’s in the nba love playing the "beauty contest" when it comes to undersized guards. Majority will tend to shy away from a guard just for the sake of being labeled "undersized"

llperezive seen him a few times this season already. I love what I see. Not only is he the best player in the pac 12, but he is in the all-American discussion for sure.
His current season stats are 21ppg…5apg…4rpg…51%fg…53%3pt
Elite athlete and ball handles. And now his outside shot looks much improved from last season. He is pullin up from nba range. He has ASU at 8-2 and playing real well. As a laker fan who now realizes the lotto is looming, I would love to see carson and farmar become our pg duo of the future while nash and blake move on.

Da1potParticipantHe is small, but he is very efficient for a player of ANY size. The obvious comparison most people will make is Isaiah Thomas, but I think he does just about everything better than Thomas did at the same point in their careers. I’m not sure if teams will peg him as a starting PG during the draft process, but he can be instant offense off the bench at the very least. There is no one in college basketball who does a better job at creating their own shot than Carson.

B-ball fanParticipantI really like him. And he is a true pg who really knows how to run a team. He just does, as he is doing right now versus Grambling St., a great job controlling tempo and he plays with his head up at all times, finding shooters. And while he is always going to struggle defending the pick-and-roll and containing players off the dribble, he does play with solid effort and awareness on defense.
