DukeDaSquadParticipantHis workout was just released on the cityleaguehoopstv YouTube channel and he looks like he lost weight since the end of the season despite reports that he was overweight as the reason he chose not to attend the combine. He looks much quicker and the scouts said he had the tightest handle of his group. They also said that he creates a lot of separation on his step back which is evident. I think if he ends up in Philly he will be in the best place to succeed to begin his career.

Neggedpastorbeing from Philadelphia its small to me this is all I know but a lot of you guys don’t understand we are one of the biggest markets/cities in the world let alone the us. If where to ever succeed luxury taxes could be ate up by revenue made . im not saying take on the nets kind of salary but if we land anybody that’s is a game changer for us we have the ability to front a top team in the east. I think parker will have the best chance to succeed in philly the bucks are a smaller market and the cavs already have the mindset to build around Kyrie. We can build around parker now for the future if he was to show hes worthy and slip to us.
also every prospect will look good in these workouts. lets not get to hype but I think parker can play uptempo hes a scorer who will put up big numbers with more scoring opportunity’s and it a be a plus he can be a 1st option in the half court.

AstroParticipantHaha…
I was already taking him #2 over Wiggins, now #1 is a toss-up for me. His offensive game is sublime.

Mr. 19134ParticipantYes Bari looked incredible during the workout. Hes slimmed down and toned up and its evident in his improved quickness. Also i wonder what his vert.is he looks like he could hit his head on the rim. Hes such an underrated athlete its funny. Bari looks like Durant in this video with an even.tighter handle at the same stage.

JoeWolf1Yeah, he looks lean and explosive in those workouts. Although he’s not my favorite prospect, I think Parker wins ROY, he’s going to be able to score right away in the league.

PhogifyParticipantNo offense to Milwaukee but whoever gets picked 2nd to them will win ROY in my opinion.

tuck243ParticipantNot saying you "hate" him… But what are your reasons?

JoeWolf1I just think he lacks a defensive position in the NBA. I think he’ll get blown by on the perimeter by athletic 3’s and although he’s tall, and long, I don’t think he’ll be a great post defender either. I think he’s a high character kid, and will develop into at least an average defender, but I see his ceiling as a 22-23 ppg scorer, but a guy who isn’t special on defense.
I also love Joel Embiid. He’s it for me in this draft. When he hit his stride in the beginning of Big 12 play in Jan and Feb he was a complete game changer. He’d get triple teamed all game and shoot 70% from the floor, he had his immature moments, but you could almost see what Self drilled in practice that week. Kid just seems like a sponge. He improved every game, would switch out on pick and rolls past the 3 point line. I remember he switched off on DeAndre Kane at ISU and completely neutralized him. The only two big men I’ve seen with that kind of pick and roll ability were 08-10 Kevin Garnett and Joakim Noah.

AstroParticipant…but that was Pudgy Jabari.
Maybe Lean Jabari will be able to move laterally. Wouldn’t put it past him.

festar35ParticipantHim and McDermott are my favourite two prospects this year no doubt. Can’t wait to see how Parker goes in the League, I really hope he can be that next level scorer like Durant and Anthony.

Captain LParticipantI would have loved to see Parker at the combine because I think his athleticism is a little underrated, I think he is faster , quicker and more explosive than some want to give him credit for. Skill wise I don’t think anybody is nearly as poslished. I love how he can get the rebound and fly up court showing good handles and weave his way to the hole showing speed, coordination and the ablility to finish. In the half court he can take what the defense gives him, he can shoot the 3, shoot the midrange jumper, explode to the hole and finish with contact, etc etc etc, he seems to be able to get his shot in any number of ways. Wiggins is more athletic but will he or can he develop that killer instinct and develop his skills to the top level, his handles need work, his shooting needs work and finishing with contact needs work. It would be a tough choice if I were a GM and had to choose between the two.

BallinmvpParticipantJabari Parker will be a very good nba caliber player. His offensive game will be good to great but it’s his defense that needs help. It’s no secret though, I think it’s all about fit tough.

machu46ParticipantHe’s still my #4 prospect, but I can’t disagree that he would be a great fit next to Giannis and Larry if my Bucks take him.
But I’m not going to overreact to a workout video designed to make prospects look good, and that goes for any prospect, not just Jabari.
