Ice Cube is a partner in a half court 3 on 3 pro game.  I think this is a great idea because we’ll get to see crazy athelticism on offense without having to switch ends every possession.  This has a chance to make some loot.

I’ll watch it if it’s done well. I have a feeling these events are going to have the feel of a C-list sporting event, covered in advertisements and crappy announcers. Hopefully I’m wrong. 

All matchups should have a player in the following categories:

 (a) someone who retired at least 3 years ago (They can’t be fresh out of the league, the intrigue is far higher if I’ve forgotten about them).

(b) an all-star player who’s 50 years or older (These are the names that bring in the sponsors);

(c) a player who left the league because of injuries or behavioral problems, thus having something to prove
