HaleParticipantI just wrote up his scouting report the other day. It’s because he’s a tweener. Despite losing weight and being more athletic this year he still can’t play the wing in the pro’s. His jump shot from deep has been pretty bad this year too after lighting it up from downtown last season. He has short arms and is only 6’8 so he’s not going to be a big either. He’ll be best used as a scorer off the bench.

laxmisonParticipantHe needs at least one more year to develop his handle more and get a consistent jumper from both the mid range and three point line. He’s going to be a quality NBA player more than likely, i would say he is a borderline lottery player next year, borderline 1st rounder this year , if he enters. I would compare him to Sam Young , with less defense and much more offense.

gopack10ParticipantI think he’s a guaranteed first round pick this season but in the 18-26 range depending on team needs. He’s a lethal scorer and will continue to be at the next level. He’s not going to win many of the 1 – 1 battles because he’s not an explosive athlete and doesn’t have a great first step but he’s crafty, knows how to use his body and moves well without the ball. He’s also always in the right place at the right time.
I don’t think his stock will be any higher than it is after this season. NC State has a lot more talent returning and coming in next season and while he’ll still be the team’s number one option, he won’t be relied upon to score as much. And if he isn’t putting up those gaudy scoring numbers I don’t see his stock being as high.
