TyroberParticipantGets worse and worse for the Lakers. People are going to say the Lakers lost this season due to injuries, but they were never very good at full strength.

Chilbert arenasParticipantAnd note that even when he comes back that plantar facia is still going to be tender and is going to hamper him the rest of the season, which may not be going into April.

r377Participantreport—-
A league source tells CBS Sports’ Ken Berg that an MRI revealed Pau Gasol has a partial tear of his plantar fascia and will miss at least six weeks and could miss as much as three months.
According to Berger, surgery would sideline Gasol for 10-12 weeks and offers a better chance of a full recovery. If Gasol declines surgery, he’ll be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Berger reports Gasol is expected to get a second opinion in the next few days after Wednesday’s MRI. Coach Mike D’Antoni said earlier Wednesday that Gasol would be out for “a while” and the reported timeline will sideline Gasol at least into mid-March.—-
I wonder what his trade value is now ?

Wavy BagelsParticipantThe sad thing about his injury was that the Lakers were finally getting into a rhythm and it was resulting in wins. Sucks to be a Lakers fan this year….

ProudGrandpaParticipantPerhaps they could pick up DJ White, James Singleton, or Greg Oden? Maybe lure Ben Wallace or Zydrunas Ilgauskas out of retirement? Maybe even (BLAST-FROM-THE-PAST TIME) Omar Samhan?

King CaluchaParticipantHow about Darko Milicic? He’s not going to dominate, but could be useful.

Chilbert arenasParticipantOmar Samhan has to be the youngest guy out of that entire list so don’t really get the blast from past part of it. DJ White also came to mind for me as well.

mercyman25ParticipantAny? Can a broken Howard, Kobe and old Nash drag LA to the playoffs? It was going to be hard without Gasol being out. Now it seems even less likely. Its gonna take the teams ahead of them to tank. I really dont think God will listen to any prayers here, LA has done too many deals with the devil.
