BrentSuriaga01ParticipantYou said the same thing about the Raptors beating the Cavs in 2nd round. What happened?

OhCanada-ParticipantWhen did I say that?

OhCanada-ParticipantIf youre talking about this thread I even said I was trolling when asked about http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/raptors-comeback. I knew Toronto would lose to Cleveland in thier 2nd last game against Boston when they lost disgracefully. I even picked Cleveland to win it all.

Evan_MilbergParticipantLeBron hasn’t lost a Game 7 since the 2008 conference semis….against Boston. If LeBron wants to avoid a repeat of 10 years ago, his teammates have to pick up more offensive slack, especially with Kevin Love out.

Lotto StudParticipantIf LeBron let’s the point guard be the point guard, he wouldn’t be so fatigued. The offense flows better with him on the block.

Lotto StudParticipantLeBron’s mentality is his biggest roadblock. He wants to be every teammate on the court, while having limitations of not exploiting his matchup (Smart) in the paint.

halfdecayedParticipantMarcus Smart with the flop of the year.. smhh.. Awful.

OhCanada-ParticipantJust a touch on the goatee hair makes Marcus head snap back like James Harden when he got elbowed by Artest.

r377ParticipantBrown and Rozier too much hero ball 3’s. When you go 0 from 7 STOP shooting !!! not keep jacking up more 3s

r377ParticipantTatum played well, they should of got him the ball more down in the stretch instead of brown and rozier trying to play hero ball

SubZeroParticipantHoly hell Lebron son’d all of Boston on that last layup. That was incredible

Ahkasi ClayParticipantDont need to score 100, if you shut thrm down

weballin.netParticipantRecently I got destroyed because of the doubts I had concerning Jaylen Brown’s consistency and the fact that the Cs should trade him for a top 5 pick and another pick/player.
A few says later, Brown has just had another terrible perf with 4/17 FG, his worst % of the series after his 4/15 in the game 5 and 3/8 in the game 3. Tatum is the starting SF for the next decade and Brown is not a SG.
We’ll see what the Cs will change this summer to improve their team and reach the Finals.

holefillers1ParticipantI would guess Brown and Rozier move to the 2nd unit with Kyrie and Hayward as the starters. Not sure what happens with smart but he is one of their best defenders so it will be interesting to see what Ainge has in the works.

tommsalmondParticipantJudging Brown after one game is ridiculous. How many sophomores shoot the three at near 40% (on good volume), while also getting All Defence votes? His ability right now is a premiere 3&D guy, while his ceiling his off the charts. Throw in his demeanour, work ethic and age (he could have been a senior next year), he’s one of the NBAs best prospects. I’d take him before anyone in this years draft class.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantYou can’t ask for more for LeBron. I never rooted for him but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a great basketball player when I see one.

halfdecayedParticipantI completely forgot about Rodney Hood after seeing him at the celebration

Reptilian MonkParticipantLebron is incredible to lead this team with no K Love the last two games and No Kyrie this year to the finals. Boston is young and will learn from this and with Kyrie and Hayward comig back are the future of the East along with Philly

RUDEBOY-ParticipantWestern Conference and Lebron Conference!!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/27/2018 - 5:52pm #1117915
Andv1 WaitingParticipantCeltics -for Balling out without their Main Stars(Kyrie and Hayward) and their team stepping up.
and
Cavs for holding on with the loss of Kyrie and K-love(concussion).
But lets be honest now though if Lebron doesn’t get one more legit Allstar level player(at least a P.G level player) to help shoulder the load then this maybe the last Finals for a while(at least until he goes ring chasing like all aging stars). As I see Lebron eventually either breaking down(physically) or losing a step with age..
As I see teams like the Celtics(with all their players),76ers(with one more Allstar level player and no major injuries to star players) and a Wildcard team(insert the next team to find right combo to beat lebron) Ruling the East for the forseeable future.

RUDEBOY-ParticipantI wonder do some folks still believe the Celtics should trade Kyrie? Obviously they had Horford, but missed having another veteran leader to close out games.

NickWayne87ParticipantHayward is the one all of a sudden expendable if we’re talking trades
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/28/2018 - 2:01am #1117923
HitsterParticipantHats off the LBJ – 8 successive finals and with the WCF being a long series neither team is going to come into the final fresh.
The Rockets or GSW in particular may have too much firepower for the Cavs but with both teams being attacking minded it will give LBJ more freedom than he may have had in the Boston series and Cavs have shooters to back him up.
Surely he has to remain in Cleveland now for next season.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/28/2018 - 2:32am #1117925
tommsalmondParticipantGreat effort from Boston, winning a game 7 against LeBron is never an easy task, but given the injuries and youth, fantastic season.
In terms of the future, why trade anyone? Irving is expiring and not a guarantee to stay, Hayward is coming off a missed season and only Smart is due a pay rise this summer. Run the same group back, hopefully keeping Baynes, and aim for a title. Figure out the future when we get a healthy (touch wood) season and have multiple 1st round picks.

halfdecayedParticipantWhy would he stay in Cleveland next season. I don’t see it.
