Yahoo Sports is saying Fultz wants out of Philadelphia for a fresh start. His agent denies it, but they usually do. My question is: why would you want off the 76ers? I figure people would want to go there. Bright future. Was he overshadowed?

I’m sure he thinks this is about a team that doesn’t take his injuries seriously (I know I don’t). That he’s tired of not being believed.

My question is how low is his trade value and who would want him? I only see two teams that don’t have a permanent future certain PG: the Knicks and the Suns. Do they have enough to get him or is he just a liability they have to dump for chump change?

Orlando could do with an upgrade at PG, maybe Chicago, they have a couple of decent shooters to put around him.

Not sure Philly can get any meaningful value back for him at this point though.

And the bottom line is neither Fultz or his agent have handled Any of this in a professional manner

For the 2nd year in a row the team is completely blind sided by a phantom injury when the player tells the team, the coaches, management & the medical staff he’s fine

Then the agent calls the team & says he needs to see a specialist but we can’t get an appt till next week – GTFOH

My guess is that Phila wants to send Fultz to the G – League (which is their right for Any player in the 1st 3 years) to get him 30+ min a game un a No pressure environment in a last ditch effort to see if he can get his head together but the player’s Agent & the Family members freaked out & pulled him

And anyone who believes this is just about Fultz’s shot you are wrong – this guy is Lost on the court, he is so poor on Defense, missing assignments, taking bad fouls that the Phila coach can no longer justify putting him on the floor for more than a few min a game. In addition to all this the Athletic reported in a detailed article that Fultz’s inner circle, his mother especially are a Disaster – she was seen At the game in the home opener Screaming at Drew Hanlan in Public b/c Fultz Shot was Still a disaster & Hanlen responded by distancing himself

Jimmy Butler came on board dropping Fultz to the 2nd team (where he belonged all along) & his play was so bad on the 2nd team Brown finally played TJ McConnel in front of Fultz & then suddenly his agent calls the next morning & basically says he needs a week off.

Bottom line is the Celtics are one of the few NBA teams that do in depth Psych Evals on potential Draft picks (Pretty Much ALL major Coporations do this now to make sure a personality type is the right Fit for their organization) And the Celtics can’t divulge their results b/c of Hippa Laws but something "Terrified" them about Fultz & the word "Terrified" is a quote reported by Celtics insider Chris Mannix

Elton Brand cleaned up the disaster that was Bryan Colangelo as GM w/ the Butler trade – it’s prob time for Phila to move on from Fultz – to Cleveland or Phoenix for Korver or Ariza – at this point just getting Fultz’s Salary off the Books to use in 2019 Free Agency would be a Major Victory for Phila b/c Fultz is a Major distraction to a contending team

can’t agree more! Came on here to expect some people to rant about this development with Fultz and some to debate about this but you just nailed it here!

What a piss poor guidance, unprofessionalism, ignorance and/or ego is all to blame on Fultz side.

Fultz had so much time to fix all his physical limitations that it’s totally laughable to say he needs to see some specialist he couldn’t see yet or whatever. C‘mon really?

I‘m more and more convinced his struggles are caused between his ears which in reality could mean anything from depressions over panic attacks and adhs to anything you can imagine for a 21 year old or what his age is.

If he won’t be moved I‘m very much interested to see how Mr. Jim Butler responds to a new teammate with a history of not being not overly satisfied with talented top notch draft picks who don’t show grit and effort. Sign my in for this new Phila team. At least this will be interesting to see how all this egos act together now.

I hadn’t heard that Boston was terrified by his psych evaluation. That’s not at all difficult to believe at this point. It’s just a shame for Sixers fans that the Sixers didn’t require the same sort of evaluation that would have red flagged Fultz as a potential nightmare. This was such an insanely botched deal and Danny Ainge robbed Bryan Colangelo blind. This deal alone was reason Colangelo needed to go.

If Fultz had happened to have been drafted by the Lakers then would he have pulled the same sort of antics, I don’t think LBJ and Magic would have been pleased.

The Celtics doing full Pscyh Evaluations doesn’t surprise me maybe more teams should do this.

I think Fultz would want out because right now he wants to run the team like Ben Simmons, but he’s nowhere as good a distributor and he’s a far worse defender. Ben plays most of the game and Brett Brown doesn’t like to play them together as the +/- is low with both of them on the court together. Fultz isn’t like to see a minutes increase unless a lot of guys go down with injury.

Fultz is also far from the first young player that would prefer being the best player on a bad team. He did the same thing in college and maybe he can’t mentally handle being second fiddle.

I’m sure a few teams would take him for a low price. The Suns would happily give up Dragan Bender who they’re ready to move on from for instance. The 76ers will get marginal value at best right now, but if he’s truly a lost cause like Jahlil Okafor was then getting a first round pick is better than a role player on an expiring deal.

     Send him to Phoenix

Josh Jackson would be a good swap except for the shooting. Still, a better fit than Fultz. Otherwise Orlando for someone like Ross, maybe Indiana for Corey Joseph, New Orleans for E’Twan Moore.. not even sure you’d get any of these guys back at this point.

At first I thought the suns would not move on from Jackson for Fultz at this point anymore but after thinking about this for a second this would still save Philly a few dollars down the road and while Jackson might still be a big gamble right now, who else could strike a deal from this Phoenix roster, TJ Warren? Not so sure but this Jaxkson swap could still help both teams even if I think Jackson will have a better career compared to Fultz right now.

Detroit has Jackson and Ish Smith, so they could use a PG of the future. Not saying Fultz would be it, but I’d be willing to give him a shot if I were the Pistons. Philly can have their choice of anyone not named Griffin, Drummond or Kennard.
