still down but improved from last year
Stanford and oregon are 2 programs to watch out for making significant improvement in the next year or two.
Nikola vucevic might be the second best pro proespect behind derrick williams and him not even being mentioned as a seconed rounder in 2011 or 2012 on this site is absolutely mind boggling.
Despite their numerous head scratching losses and losing starting pg abdul gaddy, I still think Washington is the best team in the conference and the most likely to make a run in the tournament. Im beginging to wonder if head coach lorenzo romar should be in hot water for relative lack of succes in recent years considering the talent he has had to coach.
USC is an intriguing bubble team. Big victories over Texas, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington, Arizona… but a handful of bad losses, Do they get in the big dance?????
Stanfords Jermey Green and Washington’s CJ Wilcox are the 2 best 3 point shooters going forward into next season.
UCLA coach Ben Howland has said this season that his 2 best players in practice are the Wear twins who redshirted after transferring from UNC. WIthout a single senior on the roster and the wear twins becoming eligible next season, UCLA could potentially be in for big things next year depending on who leaves for the pros.

llperezcoach of the year: Sean Miller, Arizona. Won the conference title and was one of the most consistent teams with only one real bad loss vs oregon state. Other then Derrick WIlliams this team is nothing more then role players and Miller got them to play unselfish team ball.
Mike Montgommery deserves a shout out as well after losing all 5 starters from last years team and still remaining competitive. I truly think he is the best coach in the pac 10. Also solid start for new oregon coach dana altman who led a team that was widely picked to finish last in the conference to a respectable season all things considered. The brand new state of the art arena the ducks have will only help recruiting going forward starting with this next years class which is currently ranked 19th nationally(rivals.com) led by 5 star recruit jabari brown.
Freshman of the year: Joshua Smith, UCLA bruins. 11ppg 7rpg. Major game changing abilities when he is focused and out of foul trouble. Cal’s Freshman sg allan crabbe also gets consideration here with 13ppg and 6rpg.

The lake show2I think that last spot goes to Dwight Powell since he has scored and rebound. But i can see T.Ross on there as well

llperezyeah, last spot is up for grabs. Maybe im just still remembering the 24 second half points wilcox dropped on the bruins this week.
