jjonzParticipantWith the 1st pick in the 1990 Draft the NJ Nets Select Derrick Coleman
One of the best big men to come out of College in a long time. Similiar to…. No one is electrifing, 6’10/6’11 PF from the great stat if Michigan.
January of 91 the nets trade a future 1st rnd pick for Drazen Petrovic a stud SG with Legit size, shot creation and Great Player.
June 1991 With the 2nd Pick in the 91 Draft the Nets Select Left handed PG from NY area and Point Guard University of Georgia Tech. Kenny Anderson…… One of the most exciting PG to come out the NY area in Decades. I read about a guy who played & heard about this skinny kid that could play in NY, so he wanted to play with him and against KA. He went to the courts where he played @ an was amazed @ how KA got to the rim, soared over everybody. His competition was 5-6yrs older than him but he still dominated the game. That began the Legend of K.Anderson. One of my favorite PG’s in the 90’s
Derrick Coleman was one of the best PF in the game. I wish he had to Intangibles to bring out his HOF skills. I became a big fan during Championship game when he had 19 points/19 boards as a freshman with R.Seilky and S.Douglas.
