I know I left behind a lot of good players but there’s no space for all; here are pure nba players, pure euro players, players whom develep their carreers half and a half, here are nba champions, nba mvp, nba finals mvps, rookie of the year, nba all stars, euroleague champions, eurocup champions, world champions, olympic champions, euro mvps, world mvp…

 This question is currently pretty topical in europe since the biggest news portal for european basketball has started a poll to chose the best europeans ever.

In my opinion its hard to compare different ages. The game has changed a lot since the 80s. Its  got more physical but less technical. This affected the players attributes a lot.

The majority of users think that Drazen Petrovic was the best european ever. Also Dirk ist very popular. In my opinion its Nikos Galis. Galis is the greatest scorer ever apears in international basketball. He hold every single scoring record for international tournaments included world championships. He led the greek national team to a historic victory over the USSR in the Eurobasket 1987 final and get the silver medal in Eurobasket 1989 against yugoslavia.
