royk927ParticipantThe Warriors and Sixers are in talks of trading Iguodala for monata ellis. I figured that with jerry west signing on with the Warriors that Ellis days would be numbered as he or Curry would have to go as they are undersized. This is a trade that actually makes sense for both teams. The sixers get a scorer ( as well as open up playing time for turner and might even bring back Thaddeus Young who is very underated.) The Warriors will pair curry and Iguodala which coiuld be a good combination.

CodySLCParticipantAfter Iggys poor playoff performances, I think they will have to give up a pick and or a throw in player if they want Monta. Iggys a great defender, but he’s prettyinconsistent offensively. And Monta has shown he can score 25 plus a game. I guess Philly might get another prolific scoring undersized sg. And Golden state will get a lock down defender and a guy can who can pretty much “do it all” except put up big scoring numbers.

omphalosParticipantThe only thing I worry about is what happens to Jrue Holiday; I assume they’ll have him defend 2s with his superior size and let Monta get after the PGs. Evan Turner will likely end up at the SF in that case unless they bring Monta off the bench.
Definitely a good move by Golden State though.

Mr. 19134ParticipantIggy’s poor playoff performance? I think Golden State knows what type of player Iggy is, and thats a winner. How about after Iggy All Defensive team selection and USA gold Golden State should be adding a pick in. As bad in you think Iggy was against the HEAT in the playoffs his final numbers in 5 games were still 11, 7, and 7. Iggy has played in 22 playoff games with averages of 14, 5, n 5.
But Iggy prevents as many points as Monta scores so the argument is mute, it now becomes about need. The Warriors don’t need Curry anymore, and the Sixers don’t need Iggy, so this is a great trade.
