Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAccording to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic, the Suns have waived center Earl Barron.
Such a move was predicted by Coro in an earlier tweet, as seven of their 14 — now 13 — players were either listed as a center or power forward.
With the Magic looking for another center, it’s possible they could look to sign Barron.
The Knicks — who had Barron on the roster at the end of last season and liked what he brought to the table — could also get in the mix for him as they look for more depth on the bench.
But at 15 players, they’d have to release someone to bring him on board. As we noted Monday, Kelenna Azubuike could be a candidate for release.
