HitsterParticipantDirk Nowitzki is now only 10 points off 25,000 NBA regular season career points and becoming only the 17th player and first European to reach this milestone. Look for him to complete it against NOH tomorrow night.

Memphis MadnessParticipantThat’s a heck of a milestone. What a career for Dirk. He’s still looking solid too.
Look for the Mavs to regroup a bit next year.
Now Dirk is a guy who could probably play into his mid-40’s. a great shot, foot work, fundamentals, height, and work ethic.
I think he gets to 30,000 points plus.0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/13/2013 - 6:13am #762606
HitsterParticipantWhen you see the likes of KG and Tim Duncan under contract to 39 and still playing to an elite level, I can see no reason why Dirk will not be able do although he’ll play a different sort of game to the other two and rely on his shooting, positioning and be a true finesse player.

RafterParticipantTranscending talent, what he has done for European basketball has been incredible and quite frankly he’s one of the best European sportspeople ever. Just to name a few of his accomplishments, the first European NBA MVP, one of the best inside and outside threats of all-time, holder of numerous Maverick player records and now this upcoming milestone. Scouts are scouring Europe in an attempt to find the next Dirk and have failed to do so, there won’t be another Dirk just like there won’t be another Yao, LeBron, Jordan, Magic, Wilt, Shaq etc that won’t stop scoutsfrom tagging the label on young players thus ruining the player or disappointing/frustrating fans due to the inflated expectations.
