I May Be WrongParticipantIf you are an opposing big man and you are playing the Raptors, you should get ready to have some huge games! The last few games have showed the weak interior defense by the Raptors. LaMarcus Aldridge had 33 and 23 the last game. Josh Smith had 28 and 15 a few games before that. And Carlos Boozer had 17 of the Bulls 77 points the game before that. The Raptors have got to figure out a way to hold their own in the paint.

er1csh3nParticipantUhm….the Raptors are rated #1 in paint defense, 2nd being the Magic with D12, the Raptors have more than held their own, they are missing the length of Bargnani and having a weaker frontline without him, also poor guard play, mostly Derozan has cost them games, not defense. I can see the Raptors getting better or worse, depending on how Bargnani does when he comes back and if Derozan can regain composure into Casey’s new free flow offense, which slightly hinders one of Derozan’s best skills at running the floor, because they play a half court offense with more PnR with Bargnani and Johnson.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHe was really hyped coming out of high school, but like they say,it takes big men longer to mature..
Maybe his success will lead to a team to take a chance on Dewayne Dedmon in the 1st round….Who’s not really to contribute right now,but could be a starting center in a few years….

marcusfizer21ParticipantSometimes I really wonder why he fell way down in the second round in the 2008 draft… He may lack the post skills but you just can’t teach athleticism and length… He’s been a monster tonight… Wow

MalcolmxParticipantActually you can teach athleticism just not length and height

omphalosParticipantRaptors just need to hold out until Jonas comes over, he’s going to be their answer at the 5, and allow Bargs to move to the 4 where he is more productive.
Nice to see Jordan playing well, but I still can’t shake the feeling they overpaid for him.

weballin.netParticipantIt’s sure that Jordan has a lot of things to work on like his post moves and defensive awareness as you can see him jump on simple fakes. Yet, he plays with one of the top 5 PF in the League and doesn’t need to be a focus point on offense. He’s the perfect center to grab rebounds, defend the paint and score on tip ins and dunks. Don’t forget he was born in 1989, he still should have been in college last year.
