laarethekingsParticipantTo me the winner of this round 2 match up is which ever team can get a 3rd scorer going more often. They both have 2 superstars each. But both teams have a hard time here and there getting that 18 points from the 3rd guy.
For OKC it’s between Ibaka or Jackson and the Clips it’s Jordan or Barnes.

drice4life1753ParticipantTwo words. Jamal….wait for it….Crawford. I am taking the Clips, but this series should be epic! Lots of star match-ups in this series, very excited for the playoffs to continue tomorrow.
Although I think this series will be all about defense personally, and very little about scoring. We are taking about the #1 offense (Clips) vs. the #7 offense (OKC), and not to mention the #7 team has some guy named Kevin Durant who sort of likes to score points…Rebounds and turnovers will be at a premium and decide this series in my opinion, not a certain "hot" player.

Chilbert arenasParticipantCrawford has a much better chance of being the 3rd scorer for the Clippers than Barnes

Memphis MadnessParticipantDurant. Westbrook, Paul, and Blake are four of the top 5 or 6 players in the league.
Should be a great series. Ibaka vs. Jordan could be the deciding matchup. Then you have Jamal Crawford vs. Reggie Jackson. Reggie needs to hold his own. And don’t forget that Caron Butler used to play for the Clippers.
I am not sure who guards Kevin Durant. No TA on the Clippers.
For OKC, I think Steven Adams should get more minutes to battle DeAndre Jordan.

Ghost01ParticipantPaul was veryyyy underwhelming against Golden State. I’m rooting for the Clips, and Blake and DeAndre are playing great, but Paul really needs to step it up this series.

IhateusernamesParticipantJordan and Barnes ? Aren’t you forgetting reddick, Crawford and collision who are much better scorers than those two?

he_gets_bucketsParticipantI give the edge to the Thunder. I don’t see anyone on the Clips being able to do what Tony Allen did to KD. Then I think that OKC have solid defensive perimeter players in Westbrook, Sefalosha and Reggie Jackson who can some what mitigate the long range barrage that will be coming from Reddick, Crawford and the like from the Clips. I think that the match up between CP3 and Westbrook will be great to watch, both are such intense competitors, it will be awesome to see them going at each other. I think the thing that will make or break the Clippers is Blake Griffin, he needs to be big for them to win this series. I think this is a series that will come down to the wire.

benny15Participanti give the edge to the clippers. i can see doc rivers coaching the circles around scott brooks. even though matt barnes, jared dudley and reggie bullok are nowhere near the level of tony allen’s defensive ability, i dont think the clipps would simply go one on one with durant and place whichever defender in a position to loose. and just as much as KD will dominate whichever of those he gets matches up with, we could expect the same from blake when they throw nick collioson, serge ibaka and andre roberson on him.
the point position might dictate who wins this series though, and thats because i feel that the team who forces the more turnovers and able to get on the break will be the team to win it. both these squads like scoring in transition and forcing turnovers, they were 6th and 7th in the league at that this past season. a big difference though is that the clips is also 6th best in not turning it over themselves while the the thunder are 5th worst.

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantHow are people saying Clips over Thunder? Thunder beat a Memphis team that is pretty much the Clips’ archenemy and the Clips were given a Game 7 win over the Bogut-less Warriors. The Clips have 2 actual big men, two. Glen Davis isn’t much but a big body that is bad on defense and is poor on offense. The best defensive player on the Clips is 6 feet tall and nobody on the Clips can even try to bother Durant. The Clips have never won a 2nd round game and I see them being lucky if they even get one.

Hector_Reyes_8ParticipantYeah, he was suspended, but it was his fault. You shouldn’t be initiating unnecessary physical contact in a tight playoff game and series. The flops the Clips get away with is aggravating.
