Yancy Gates looked like the best player on the court; he kept pushing Fab around in the post on offense, which freed up the Cincy shooters for open shots, and on defense he put the fear of God into Fab. Fab was looking to pass on almost every play (more so than normal for him,even), and almost never tried to force his way into the post like Yancy did. He did have a nice fake and scoop layup though.
Officiating was horrible. Don’t know if it made more sense on replays, but there was an early play where Fab got dragged down by Yancy and they didn’t call a foul, then there was a backcourt violation that led to a dagger three by Cincy in the closing minutes.
It was certainly better than the Notre Dame-Louisville game after though. Louisville just out-athleticized Notre Dame.

JrbenzCuse23Umm dion waiters was clearly the best player on the floor lol cinci is a tough team tho that shot out their minds first half. In all honesty officials probably cost Cuse the game. Great win for the Bearcats tho…GO CUSE

burningfloodParticipantDion was good but he was taking a bunch of contested jumpshots. Yeah, he hit them, but I think best player on the floor is the one that affects the game the most, and Dion waited until the last 5 minutes for that. And Gates was opening up space for Cincy with his size on the block and his offensive rebounding.
Still, Syracuse is gonna get a #1 seed.

Bmore_DCParticipantcuse has never won the big east tourny as a #1 seed…as a Cuse fan, im almost happy they lost…theyre gonna have a #1 seed anyways, why get more worn down?
and clearly Dion Waiters was the best player on the floor…if Triche wouldve knocked in those free throws, the game wouldve been different

OhCanada-ParticipantI sort of like the fact that he went all Mike Tyson earlier this season. He stood up for his team and did not start the brawl. Although he really did end it, ha. Those Xavier guys Lyons and Holloway are just complete idiots.
