Michael.S.Participantllperez, you dont even have us getting to the finals? Atleast I gave your lakers the benefit of the doubt…

llperezmikenike, picking the magic over the cavs is not biased. i honestly think they are better. It wouldnt surprise me either way, but orlando shares the ball and has a deep bench.

Michael.S.Participantyou mention that “orlando shares the ball and has a deep bench.”
The cavs have the best chemistry and shares the ball sooo well…plus I can make a legit case that the Cavs are even more talented and deep than the Magic

llperezmike, so you disagree with my opinion? Its not like impicking the heat to win it all, picking the magic is a legit opinion.

Michael.S.Participantnahhh,im just saying that your reason why you think the magic could beat them is that their deep and share the ball, but that is Clevelands best attribute

IndianaBasketballParticipantBoth teams are deep. I picked the Cavs to beat Orlando due to the fact they have an easier road to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Magic may be beat up by the time they get there.
They’ll have their hands full with the Bobcats in the first round. The Bobcats have the wings to defend Carter/Lewis and they have plenty of bigs to foul Dwight. The Magic will win, but it’ll be tougher than they want it to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if that series went seven games. Then they have their hands full with the Hawks in the second round. That series could go seven too. The Cavs have a MUCH easier road to the Eastern Conference Finals. They should sweep the Bulls and beat the Celtics/Heat in six games or less.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantCleveland weakness last year was the shooters, i expect the same this year. I wouldn’t be suprised of Cavs make it the finals either.

llperezwell i didnt go into too much depth. But i think cleavland when things get rough rely too much on lebron. Also i dont think shaq is gonna deliver for them. The magic now have a healthy nelson that they didnt have last year and i honestly think vince is better then hedo. They swing the ball and knock down threes as well as anyone.
But it would not surprise me one bit if cleavland won. I have those as the to 2 teams in the east and think it should be a great series that could go ether way.

Michael.S.Participantcool…Shooting is not a weakness at all for Cleveland though….its actually a strength….Im not sure if you mean Orlando’s shooters or Clevelands shooting, but Cleveland was one of the best at guarding the 3 this yr and they now have a player that can guard Lewis…and they could play Howard one on one so they wont have to double and they could find open shooters

joecheck88Participantsuns over hawks in 7. well thats what i would like to see but it wont happen. my real pick is magic over mavs in 6. i think the lakers have been to beat up and that ron artest will take some bad shots to cost the lakers a couple games.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Cavs are a much better shooting team this season… You can thank Anthony Parker for that. He’s shooting like 40+ from three-point.
It should be a great series. How the refs call the game with Shaq vs Dwight will be a key.

I think Mavs come out more prepared in the Western Conference Finals and trumping the Lakers, and I have the higher seed for each series moving on except for that one..
