The Celtics could possibly lose Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Brandon Bass. I think the Celtics can survive losing Allen and Bass, but losing KG would set them back. Even at his age he’s still one of the top inside players and the league and he was a large reason the Celtics almost made the finals again.

The C’s have two first round draft picks that could help fill whatever gap is left possibly losing Bass. Allen is still effective but he’s not an elite two guard anymore as we saw Avery Bradley did well for the Celtics in place of Allen. The Celtics also have Jajuan Johnson their first round pick last year who is hopefully developing his game so he can contribute next year.

I think the Celtics will still be competitive next season because of Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce. Rondo especially has that point guard ability to involve guys with zero offensive skills and make them useful. If you can only have one elite player on your team having a true point guard is the best option in my opinion.
