    But they have made this site what it is, and if they were discontinued I almost guarantee this site would not be the same. People that constantly complain about them or whine about being in the negative are, surprise, people who usually tend to make really stupid uneducated posts with little research or thought behind them. Sorry guys, just being real.

    Yes, their are people who get points from posting things with little insight, but succinct responses are sometimes all that is needed. Funny gifs and creativity also tend to gain a lot of points, but that is what has made this board a community. Points let you know what is being felt and what is not, it is not always fair, but to me it is a good way to know what is popping. Before the point system, this board was nowhere as popular as it is now. It was a great addition, and to the people that complain about them, step your game up.

    They do not matter, but they should probably tell you that you could maybe put more thought into your posts if you want to be respected by your peers on this board. If you don’t, than just keep thinking you are much smarter than everyone else with a huge negative point total. Believe me, their are people on here with positive point totals who I do not take much of what they say seriously, and people with negative point totals who sometimes make solid posts. But, if you are happy being constantly negated on this site, you more than likely should seriously evaluate your posting content.

    I aint mad at u but if u think your gettin a point from me for posting this shiot u don’t know me very well.  If your gonna post a non-sense thread, it better be worth my time to read.  A chuckle here and there would have been nice.

    The only thing I don’t like about points is, you can have a smart post where people agree with you after, and you can have negative points. There are times where I can refresh a page 10, 15 secs after I post and see a -1 or -3 and it’s fustrating sometimes, but it’s whatever.

    I agree, I mean i deservered these negs and any othere stupid stuff I put on here. But sometimes when you make a valid point, people agree wit you but then fanboys give you negatives because you are talking about thier team or bashing thier favorite player. Bandwagon fans are the worst too(miami), damn i’ve been a nets fans ever since i started watching basketball through the good(2 finals appearances) and bad(12 win season)

    That’s the thing. I argue about the Knicks, but I’m not afriad to talk about all teams. When I rip other teams, or don’t agree with them, that’s where the negatives come.

    I only give negatives if what people say is completely way off or just plain stupid such as this thread i created( i gave myself a neg.). I usually generous on giving points though

    Also I respect that you are a longtime knicks fan not a bandwagon one. I have argued with you bout the melo trade(if nets forced knicks to up trade or not), and You actually had valid points unlike most knicks fan I argued with just staing that NY is basically god of basketball

    Thank you. I try to stay realistic with things ya know? Like, I really don’t like dubbing some NCAA playrs stars and things like that. I just love basketball and talking about it so for you calling me a valid poster, thanks again.
