mikeyvthedonParticipantThey all look good when they are working out by themselves. Especially in a video that does not show any of their mistakes or things they need to work on. All we have to go off of is that he makes every shot he takes, which is clearly not the case. I think his form is actually fairly poor, it is inconsistent to say the least and it seems like he will need work as far as being a shooter. I mean, Ben Wallace’s form is not incredibly poor, but his stroke is inconsistent and in a game situation, when you hesitate, you will more than likely miss. Hard to say Biyombo will not be the same way, it will really be all about confidence, and from what I saw of him in the Hoop Summit, he did not have a lot offensively.
He is a very intriguing prospect, his length is off of the charts, but I for one do not think that passing up on him will make you look bad as a GM. If he turns into a top 5 impact player from this draft in the long run, I will be wrong as hell, but I am highly skeptical of him doing so, much less being in the top 10. Just feel their are better basketball players out there right now, and he will be playing catch up. Either way, this video just shows you the usual, he does not have to jump high to dunk and that he is working on his post moves, like every other player at his position (4/5) in the draft.

omphalosParticipantHe looks pretty solid, I’d love to see him end up in Indiana to play the 4 next to Hibbert.

Tha_PrinceParticipantBismack & Enes are the two big mysteries in this draft, excited to actually get to see them play.

Tim49461ParticipantAnyone else get the impression that his footwork is horrible and basically making post moves based on what he is told not reaction? Also I thought this guy was 50 cent buff but he looks Skinny in this video.

kphelpsParticipantAgreed. wow he’s tall, wow he can dunk. wow here’s a video of him going half speed with some weak takes to the hoop. that slow two step across the lane doesnt play in the nba. i need to see a video of him going full speed before i know ANYTHING about him. his form does look good but like someone else said hes shooting against no defense.
also whats up with those camera angles? that hoop might only be 8 feet tall.

HitsterParticipantI think that Aran’s got Biyombo’s draft status about right now with late lottery, I don’t see him justifying a top 8 pick as a lot of sites have him listed at but his wingspan and upside alone probably pushes him inside the top 20.
Of course the big thing with him is if they do find out he is older than he states, if he’s a year or two older then that’s not an issue but as I believe Aran again states on his mock if Biyombo is much older than that then he could well fall down the draft quickly.
But as always it only takes one GM to like him and he could go very high.
I do quite like the idea of him at Indiana alongside Hibbert giving them a double frontcourt presence say similar to Ibaka and Perkins at OKC but would Larry Bird take a flyer on him when he could take proven college seniors who may be around when the Pacers draft.
