417basketballfanParticipantBilly donovan is no better of a coach for the thunder then scott brooks. The thunders problem has always been getting good quality shots late in games and he hasnt changed a thing. I saw it verse the warriors on tv and again I see it tonight. ridiculous

Chilbert arenasParticipantI don’t get why he called that time out between PG13 free throws. Thunder couldnt advance ball and lost a few seconds while giving them no advantage. Classic Josh Howard finals 2006 mistake.

Hype MachineI dunno if this criticism is warranted. Admittedly that timeout was stupid.
1) In the last minute…Kevin Durant took a really low % 3pt shot with plenty of time left on the shot clock…a bit of a hero shot to be honest. He hit a similarly tough one a bit later..but they were already down 4 at that stage.
2) Westbrook had 5.4 seconds to get a good shot off on the last play…and he threw up a half court heave. The Thunder could have easily gotten that ball to the 3pt line in that time considering theyd just called a timeout. He still had 2 seconds when it left his hand.
3) The Pacers got hot and hit some pretty low% shots themselves down the stretch. Myles Turner with a corner 3 over Ibaka after catching the ball at his knees. Monta Ellis probably played his best half of the season and was ultra clutch.
Dont be too harsh on the coach…Id give credit to the Pacers shotmaking ability and tell KD and Westbrook to show a bit more bball IQ in late game situations.
Finally..Myles Turner and Ian Mahimi were beasts and thoroughly outplayed Adams, Kanter & Ibaka in the second half.
